I'm sure you are right, and I would love lorazepam, but I stay off benzo diazapams in gerenral because I'm an alcoholic. Any benzodiazapam will trigger an alcoholic, so they are off my list. I haven't had a drink in a very long time, over 20 years, glad to have a life instead. Any benzo is also really really addictive.

Drunks and people who like sedatives are generally GABA deficient. Much to my surprise, GABA is all over the shelves in health food stores, it's used by body builders to promote muscle growth and to lose wieght. If you are taking it for anxiety, you have to take quite a bit of it, because it has to cross the blood brain barrier, before it shows up in any way as s neurotransmitter. No side effects, and because it a an amino acid, it can't be patented and it's also cheap.

I had a bad worm die off last week, got a bunch of adult round worms, 13 to 15 inches long, so I still have a lot more de worming to do. I just get right out of my head while they kick off, and the GABA helps a lot.
