connection between stress and onset of diabetes type 2

I am asking this question of curezone to anyone. This has to do with the repeated surges of adrenalin in response to negative outside stressors. I know people who have had operations and ate in the hospital sometimes end up with a high blood glucose and it is treated temporarily with insulin injections. Also negative outside stressors can have a negative effect on the whole digestive system including the pancreas, the stomach and the intestines. Does anyone know the connection between all this and the onset of diabetes type 2? Does anyone out there have any information on this? It would be appreciated if it comes from a source where the effects on the adrenals and digestive system and this dis-ease have been observed.
