Re: Potassium question, Help Please

The little levels in iodoral do not compensate for a diet low in potassium. Most potassium supplements offer low doses as it is dangerous to take high dose at one time. Proper ratio of sodium and potassium are needed for normal nervous system activity; low levels of sodium reflect Depression and fatigue, while low potassium levels can reflect nervousness, irregular cardiac rhythm, muscle contraction issues.
Proper ratio of calcium and magnesium also plays an important role in above conditions.

Diet rich in fruits and vegetables will help increase potassium storages.
