Re: Taking Dandelion root?

dandelion root is full of inulin. inulin is a soluble fiber and a probiotic.

i love dandelion as an alternative food. taken as an herb, it may or may not have any particular desired effect. there is a fellow on the web who claims it cures cancer. it must be dug up, not washed, dried at room temp and hand ground and capped in order to be any good in this way. this formula screams synbiotics - bacteria (soil based probiotics) and food for said bugs(prebiotics).

its a good idea if you can plan ahead, harvest at the optimal time, and keep it on hand. it is probably the probiotics a person can do.

just looking at the inulin in the root, it will feed good and bad bugs. inulin made me swell up like a toad frog a couple of years ago.
