I also thought the same thing, but yet I continue to use it.
My instincts tell me that some of the food lists in the book are not accurate. It's possible that they did NOT test the EVCO but tested refined CO instead, which is not good for anyone.
For me, I don't keep to it strictly, but as an 'O', the minute I cut out most grains, add some lean meat/liver (all organic is important) and oily fish plus add loads of green, leafy veges and olive oil, my body and skin start to look great. I feel more alert too.
