Re: Update on Infectious Disease Specialist, as promised

Hey LS, thanks so much. BIG HUG right back out to you. :) :)

I want to encourage you to see the ID anyway as you never know if you might run into the right one who can help you. Also, the fact that you feel it/them means you are making an impact and they are not happy. A parasite's goal is to live undetected. If you are feeling their presence, they are probably migrating. The environment has been made inhabitable (kudos to you), and the thing(s) is/are moving around to find a more suitable place to nest. Keep going and get even more agressive if you think you can handle it. I'm about to do the same. Remember, you can manage your own die-off. If it gets you too sick, pull back a little, and vice versa.

My pH is pretty good now - 7.0, and it's taken some work to get it there. I also encourage you to test if you're not doing so now. You can buy pH testing strips online. Test often and work your pH up. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a positive impact this has made for me. Minerals are one of the keys to raising your pH. One of the things I'm doing right now toward that end is taking liquid minerals. I'm also raw vegan. It's important for your body to stay strong while you fight this infection. Eventually the environment will weaken them enough. I think it's a comprehensive long-term approach and there is no one "cure all". Nor do I think it's a quick 1 or 2 month fix.

Here are some general points I have gleaned that I want to share with you:

-Keep the bowels moving. Good transit time is important for managing the toxins that parasites emit.

-Choose weapons which are harmless to you, but harmful to them.

-Keep deworming all the time - just rotate the antihelminthics to avoid them building up resistance to any certain substances.

MH from Barefoot tells me I should be doing Liver Cleanses every 5 days and I should do the mop up program. Mop up might be good for you too. It's supposed to get the hard to reach ones, like in the head. So I'm about to embark on Liver Cleanses and mop up, and I just ordered Barefoot's lower bowel balance. I'll post about how these therapies work out.

Hang in there - stay strong. At the end of the day, they are just little creatures trying to scare us. When you feel them, eat some raw cloves of garlic or some other such munition and smile inside. They fire; you fire back.

Please post about how your ID appointment goes.

And I will remember to stay strong too. :)

Warmly,
T
