Re: Update on Infectious Disease Specialist, as promised
she'll get better, it just may take a bit of time.
depending on how sick she is now, she may not have the capacity yet to
parasite cleanse. she'll be able to determine that for herself, if
parasite herbs make her unbelievably ill and on a downward spiral that doesn't get better, then she needs to build her health first.
which is what I had to do. and infact, in the beginning, it wasn't
parasite cleansing at all that brought back some of my health, because I couldn't tolerate any of it...it was diet change, juicing, gerson therapy and liver flushes.
at my sickest (non functional) I did two 6 month rounds of gerson therapy. if this is too extreme for her, but she's also still too sick to parasite cleanse, then she can regain health in just changing to whole foods diet, and light bowel cleansing. diet change is foundational if very ill, getting rid of junk food, processed foods, flour products, refined sugars and refined oils. it may take months to do, but especially with parasites, if the burden is high, you can be very debilitated by the extent of nutritional depletion, dehydration, and imbalances in your system..then add in the extra burden of poor diet, and you're sick as a dog. I was there.
the key is rebuilding some health first, rehydrating, reestablishing bowel function. also getting stones out of the liver helps a great deal.
it's a huge change and overwhelming in itself...but there's no easy way around it, if she's very sick. it may even take months to re-establish the foundation, but it is the foundation. to try to parasite cleanse from a very compromised congested condition is asking for trouble, in my experience.
now I don't know anything about her condition, and it could be she's not this far gone (like me), and actually able to start on parasite cleanse right away...she'll know this. for me, I should have firmly established the foundation first, considering my state. it was one of my mistakes.
for bowel herbs, I use dr christophers lower bowel balance and dr schulze intestinal formula 1, alternating depending on what I feel I need. I also take a fiber shake each day (2 tbs flaxseed, 1 tsp slippery elm). with time, I'll add in small amounts of psyllium. I'm still at a stage where I can't do that much more. but I keep as my foundation, whole foods diet and this light bowel cleansing, and I'm okay to take parasite herbs.
I don't have any commercial formula to recommend because none of the ones I tried worked, they are far too weak for me. I have to buy the herbs in bulk and make my own formula so as to control dose and strength. she may not have to do this. but ones so far that I've found effective are...hyssop, sage, thyme, male fern, poke root,
Wormwood , cloves, bloodroot, tansey, wormseed. also oil of oregano (pure, undilute) and neem oil.
others use commercial formula and seems to work okay. but I've got a bad case of them and they are hardy. slowly I'm wearing them down though.
hope some of this helps, she'll be okay with time.
