I decided to order a Brita faucet filtration system to filter my water before distilling it.

Filtration alone wont remove fluoride.
Do you add a good salt to your distilled water that you give to your dog? Like Himalayan or Redmont's Real Salt? He may not like the fact that its void of any minerals if not.
