I am also on the fence lately about the best kind of water to drink. I don't think we have any source that is good enough probably. We try to make do with what we have for now.
I am reading the book, Cure For All Diseases by
Hulda Clark which I just started yesterday and it's the first time besides some various online stuff I've read that she wrote. She has her cleanses, and the zapper, advocated wheatgrass juice, etc.
She says that drinking water from distillers, and other outside sources that bottle their water have solvents in them, from the equipment used. That using tap water and good carbon filter is better because it's a matter of toxicity of solvents in your outside source of water vs heavy metals in your tap water. I think that our tap water also would have solvents, amounts depending on environment, etc. She said that free flowing water from the tap is best.
I know my dog prefers tap water to distilled, but he likes the
Iodine in the tap water, but won't touch the distilled, not even the Essentia water that is ionized with or without the Iodine, he won't drink much of it. I tried as late as yesterday, and his bowl was full at night, when usually it's empty or near empty if not empty before night-time with tap water.
I drank distilled for over 4 years in Ca. and recently had to switch to tap water since moving to Oregon. Now, I'm going to just buy a pitcher with carbon filter and think about a filter for shower, faucets, or whole home. I recently got a little panicky thinking I better run to get distilled since I found a source, but I think I'm going to go with the carbon filter first. I feel good about trying that.
