Regardless of what we decide to look for in life, the only truth one can find is within oneself. Life does not have to be meaningless if you really look at who you are, and break the barriers of the duality. Once you reach such a state, religion, separation from others, etc becomes absolutely meaningless. You start to see everything and everyone as ONE with you. You cannot take anyone's word for what truth is, but once you reach that state, you will know what it is regardless of what is hidden or what is right in front of you. Lift the veil, and you will see everything.
