Re: Hair removal.

Just to comment...since I am still painting with
Lugol's and have done yearly detoxing and yearly,
after my month long fast, 8-12 weeks later my
hair begins to fall out. A hair specialist told me
that when you see hairfall, the hair died 8 weeks
earlier.

My suspicion is still heavy metal detoxing which
iodine also contributes to. In my past I have
had extreme heavy metal (aluminum) poisoning and
still do have mercury in my mouth. The head is as logical
as the reason why they use hair from the head when
they do hair analysis. For hair analysis, you need
to submit hair from next to the scalp. I have never
heard of hair from anywhere else being used.

I did a 28 day fast in June, and painted with Lugol's
throughout. I am not sure when my hair began to fall
out, but once again, it is, although it was in the
same time window so the detoxing from the fast precipitated
it. I would be jittery and distressed MORE but I have gone
through this now twice before and the hair always grows
back. Still, my hair is long, down to the bottom of my
cheeks and so when it is falling, it clogs the shower,
fills my brush, and if I run my fingers through my hair,
I find enough on my fingers to freak me out if I let
it.

Not sure what to make of it. I feel fine, and have
been taking vitamins and minerals post cleanse and
continued the Lugol's. Fortunately, I have enough
hair that it does not appear that I am going bald.
I am still waiting for it to end though...

I am planning on doing a round of heavy metal
chelation in about 2 weeks. I keep thinking every
year will be the last time this happens. It is
not common but I consider it detoxing, just not
sure which kind. I did take prescriptions for many
years but its been 11 years since I stopped those.

I have never had this level of hairfall prior to my
fasting experiences, and the first two years, I had
also not been using the Lugol's and it happened and
so I know Lugol's did not specifically precipitate it
since it had happened before.

My guess...is still heavy metal. I also, for years,
have had limited fluoride exposure so do not blame
that either. The common thread for me has to be the
past metals and prescriptions.

I hope this info offers up some additional clues to
the enigma...
