We initinally started to see that my son had eczema when he was only 2 months old. I was breastfeeding him at the time so the doctor told me to just take milk out of my diet so I did and it cleared up within a month. Well I nursed him until he was 20 months becuase my milk dried up because I got pregnant again. Well he is now 23 months old and now the eczema is back and its worse than ever. It is even on his eye lids. They are red and dry. I am not sure what to put on his eye lids as I am afraid of getting anything into his eyes. I put lubriderm lotion on twice daily all over his body and I put dabs of cortizone cream on the areas where he itches. He is very fair skinned and his eyes always look tired because of the eczema. We just started giving him flax seed oil to see if that helps, but I don't know what else to try. How can I cure this especially on his eye lids. I don't want to put him on medication but if it keeps bothering him like this I have to do something. What shall I do? Any help would be very much appreciated. Also he has a very good diet with lots of fruits and veggies and he even loves prune juice and carrot juice. We try to limit Sugar and wheat products also. Could there be something else that is triggering this. He also doesn't eat peanuts.
