Re: Anyone using Gleevec or know someone using it?

My wife has had GIST for about 5 years. After three major surgeries Gleevec bacame available. She was given Gleevec and for the next 15 months her tumors stopped growing, reduced in size and then went away. Now she has 3 new ones growing and it looks like another surgery to remove them. We would be interested in seeing what other people with GIST are experiencing. Her GIST was the first case for her oncologist and her surgeon.
