You also are right with your post and that statement as we can't tell God what He can or can't do. Isa 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts".

All we can do is be obedient to His word and pray and tell others about Jesus, but God is the final judge because He is the only one that truly knows a person's heart.
