Re: Master Cleanse and antidepressants

I will have to disagree with jumping on the the cleanse after 8 months of prozak and months to go...I don't think the effects of the drugs will simply be 'washed
out'. I don't see it as healthy or productive at all-either doing prozak OR doing it on a fast/cleanse.

Also,Prozak is often prescribed to people with severe chemical imbalances,bi-polar,etc... The Master-Cleanse is and/or can be an emotional roller coaster ride. You must be prepared mentally for mental highs and lows, sometimes extreme. Are You?

Not sure what reasons you are on Prozak for. If it were me, I'd eat, exercise and live health consciouly for the next few months and research to the max.

This is a support forum and in my honest opinion, I do not believe that condoning
you starting the cleanse while on a drug is true support. I'd love to see you cleanse, yet feel you will have a smoother ride when you are off the drugs. 8 months is a long time, and you definitely need a good detox after. Read up for the next few months and you will inevitably do it right.

The Master Cleanser is not onlyi a fast/cleanse/diet, it is a discipline developer. Ponder on the things that led you to want to do a cleanse and in the interim eat healthier and take care of yourself. Consider it a few months of 'precleanse'.
