I don't think we are going to be able to know for sure about this.

One possibility is that something was triggered prior to taking humaworm. He had symptoms of uveitis to begin with and perhaps something was triggered prior to this causing the manifestation of the symptom of uveitis. Uveitis is a serious condition. Then it progressed, which it was going to do regardless of whether he took the humaworm or not. He said he has a particulary aggressive form of this disease and so this may have been the natural progression anyway since it was months from the uveitis symptoms to the next set of debilatating symptoms. Taking the humaworm in between the first onset of symptoms, and the next onset of symptoms may or may not have stirred things up and hurried them along, I don't think anyone can figure this aspect out. But I do know that once you start having symptoms, they progress rapidly. DB's symptoms had begun before taking humaworm.

It is not like ALS is an opportunistic disease.

I've literally been thinking about this all day myself, and I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out a relationship here. I'm an RN so I have been trying to look at this from a medical viewpoint, and I just don't get it either. I do know that when people get sick, especially when it's very serious, they always search for a cause, they need to know "why?", it's just human nature. And very often I have seen people make connections about their disease that is just plain wrong. It is just somehow psychologically helpful to have something to pin down a cause for. It's a need we all have, and it isn't wrong and it isn't right, it's just the way we are.

And my heart, more than anything else, goes out to DB, as do my prayers. My heart also goes out to RG because I fear he is terribly upset about this, and I can understand his distress. I note that we haven't heard from him since his post to DB and I am concerned for him as well. Or maybe I'm wrong about that and haven't paid close enough attention to who posted what and when.

Having parasites now is causing many of us some problems, some of which we can live with. However, keeping them is going to cause nothing but worse problems down the line somehow. I've decided to keep taking the cleanse. I talked to my kids and they have decided the same thing. I'd rather deal with this now rather than later when I'm older and in less good health than I am now. Each one of us, in my family, has had a parasite problem that medical doctors have not helped us with.

I think RG needs our prayers at this time also. The whole crew at Humaworm needs our prayers.
