The Rubber Band Effect.

The Body makes adjustments to compensate for “high” levels of certain resources (not all).

Vitamin C is a good example.

Lets say you have no vitamin C deficiency symptoms but start on a program of C supplementation.

The body adapts to it.

Should you suddenly stop, you can actually get scurvy even though your intake is the same as it was before you started the supplementation.

Can we therefore assume that Iodine is one of those resources that should be ramped down?

Your results may vary.
