I understand the princible behind orthomolecular medicine very well and was once a member of the Life Extension Foundation!
I spent hundreds of dollars a month and bought every new hyped up "product of the month" from thier magazine!
I suppose these products do have their value, at least one is making postive moves in in the right direction in helping themselves and breaking lose from the chains of modern medicine!
And I guess that is part of the meaning of the prefix ortho to move upward in the correct direction!
But I do know that the pharmaceutical industry is very much vested in the supplement industry also, as I beleive they can see the future of modern medicine and its decline in popularity!
But you are right there are inferior and superior products out there! But I also beleive one should move in even a higher direction by utilizing what nature gave us or can give us and seek food sources and herbs and such of a higher quality !
One can become dependent on supplementation also! Which we all know can be quite pricy! This is my caveat, I did not mean to sound offensive and I do enjoy this subject!
