Re: Question for Tony
Hello Plzchuckle,
No-brainer or not..... the facts speak for themselves.
My own view, borne out of the evidence, is that if you take a nutritional isolate from a plant, it is still an isolate that is beneficial to the body, whether used in smaller or greater amounts.
This is the basis of Orthomolecular Medicine, which uses isolates in varying degrees of dosage to be fully optimal and therapeutic to the body: and that includes whether it is a natural or synthetic source.
However, this cannot be said for drugs, which are mostly one of these isolates that have been chemically altered to allow it to be patented, and therefore profited from.
Ask Shane Ellison MSc (the peoples chemist and former drug researcher and analyzer).
However, I do agree that nutrients do have a synergistic action within the body for the maximum beneficial biological effect, but, that does NOT negate the extreme benefits made by plant nutrients in isolation using megadoses of the same.
I suggest that you research Dr Stephen Hickeys book on Ascorbate and also the results of using isolated nutrient compounds within the field of Orthomolecular Medicine (for example...the successful use of Vitamin B3 (Nicotinamide or Niacin) in the treatment of Schizophrenia)
