Re: question on psychological projection??
He gets a friendly and great parenting relationship with his ex-wife, who is now remarried...
...And he gets any relationship with another woman that he can arrange...which is a two-way street, of course.
Love, if not reciprocated, isn't worth a darn...though some try to whip a dead horse...uselessly...only because they immaturely are royally pissed off. Those people don't see that they, themselves, weren't ready, and it wouldn't have worked in any case.
You, on the other hand, already understand that.
Sometimes creating good friendships, relationships, is just a matter of good communications skills...knowing what to say or do, to show 'the flag', so to speak.
There's another excellent book on the shelf over my computer screen. It's one of those that bookstores have a hard time keeping stocked...they just walk out the door, automatically, for decades.
This one is 'How to Make a Man Fall in Love with You', by Tracy Cabot. It's all about communication between men and women, and how to get your messages across.
Gorgeous!
