Just to answer your question about protein, unless you have a very acidic diet and eat very little vegetables you won't get problems eating too much protein. Infact, most of us should be eating around 100g if not more depending on the size of your body. I realise some people might disagree with this but it's all explaind in the paleo book with scientific evidence to back it up and from the results i'm getting i have no doubt it's right.
