I, Webmaster, banned VWT team from this forum

I banned VWT team from this forum.

VWT team were banned from Iodine support not because they broke any special rules, ... but because they are VWT team.

If there is one forum where members of the VWT team should not be, it is Iodine support forum. Explanation is below.

Background:

Since VWT forum was privatized ... they (VWT team) have banned from VWT forum over 25 people. (90% of those 25 people are well-established long-time-curezonians)
Those well-established long-time-curezonians were not happy with the decision of VWT team, and I received many complaints.

As VWT forum is a private forum, I felt they have the right to exercise their own will and their own judgment, regardless of what well-established long-time-curezonians think.

It is VWT team that started the forum, it is their right to run that forum the way they want it.

Beside those 20-something people who were banned, there are also other 30-something people who disagree with VWT team and who prefer to have another different forum.

That is why Iodine support forum was created.

The Iodine support forum was created upon request from VWT "dissidents", people who were blocked or didn't feel welcome or OK inside VWT forum.



Unfortunately, when Iodine support forum was created, I forgot to block VWT team from it, I actually never thought they will be entering that forum in the first place, (considering the forum was specially created for those who are VWT "dissidents" = people not agreeing with VWT team, and considering VWT team personally requested from me that no messages should be cross posted between those 2 forums.
(If they had intention of posting into Iodine support forum, why would they request of having cross posting disabled between those 2 forums? .. were my thoughts...)


I just corrected that now, when I saw members of VWT team posting inside this forum.

Yes, this is a public forum, yes everyone should be allowed to post here ... but we have to take into consideration circumstances under which this forum was created, and we have to take into consideration feelings of those who are members of this forum.


Peace is still the most valuable commodity on CureZone, and I made this decision generally with Peace on mine mind.


Even friendly countries have borders. To ensure peace between friendly and unfriendly countries, acknowledged and respected borders are must.


Canad and USA are friendly countries (most people think).


If Canada would suddenly decide to move it's border 1 mile into USA territory, that could actually trigger a war, even if both countries are "friends".


Borders have their purpose, and on CureZone ... we create borders by isolating some forums and by isolating some users from one another.

I'm sorry this story had to explode, but that only speaks about pains from the past that have not healed yet.

No matter how long time ago an even occur ... if people involved have not forgiven ... even a slightest action, like banning VWT ... have a potential to trigger another war.

You can't make everybody happy.

If people were happy all the time, nothing would ever change. .....
