Re: I have lost all hope....
Kris, rygar and others suffering from depression:
In trying to find information useful for helping with my own suicidal depression, I came across two websites that talk about the importance of being properly hydrated for finding relief from many diseases, including depression. The websites are:
www.watercure.com and www.watercure2.org
At those two sites you can learn about Dr. Fereydoon Batmanghelidj's research and books he has written regarding the role of water in the human body, including one titled Your Body's Many Cries for Water.
I have learned that alcohol and caffeinated beverages are dehydrating. If you drink those types of beverages instead of water you may find relief by doing without them and by drinking half your body weight in ounces of water with some sea salt added instead, on a daily basis. Until last week, for years I was drinking practically nothing but Diet Coke to quench my thirst, but I was so desperate for getting relief from my longstanding (3 - 4 years) and often suicidal depression that I decided to give it a try. Within 2 days I could tell my depression was getting better.
I am starting to eat better, too, having eaten lots of processed foods for years, so am hoping that between a better diet, and drinking water, that my depression will be kept at bay. So far, it seems to be working, and I would urge you to try Dr. Batmanghelidj's water cure. I have felt a lot of the type of pain you are experiencing, and I know how it makes you want to give up, but I've gotten relief from it for a few days now, and even if the relief doesn't last forever, those few days were well worth it. I plan to continue drinking water and avoiding caffeine, the relief has been that great.
I hope you will take a look at the websites listed above, give water a try and see if your own depression doesn't get better, as well.
