Yes, the information was generally helpful and generally correct. The only thing that was missing was the difficulty of re-suspension where the uterus has already prolapsed to such an extent that the vagina has fully everted and is completely beyond the labia. In such instances, re-suspension is not likely to succeed. That, of course, does not justify hysterectomy, but it does mean that a proportion of women will end up -- as many or most of our great-grandmothers did, with four or five inches of everted vagina and of course no possibility of normal sexual intercourse as a female.
