I did not listen to these, so I am not speaking to the effects of the vidoes.
I am speaking personally. I had a partial hysterectomy back in Feb. 2005. They left my ovaries, so I didn't go into premature menopause. I was 42 years old.
I had issues with low iron. The doctors checked to see why. They did a colonoscopy, fecal test and a few other things. They also did an ultra sound on my female organs. I had cysts. They saw a few on my uterus. They told me I had a couple options. I opted to have the hysterectomy. Hey, I don't want anymore babies, so why have a period :D?! Also, this was before I started to learn about energy healing and the likes...that I could heal this situation.
At any rate, I had emotional bouts for about 2 months, other than that no menopause symptoms. After about 6-9 weeks, my iron finally leveled out. OH and when they went in there were more than the few cysts they saw...they were not visible to the ultrasound. Either one or two of them appeared 'suspicious'. I had a pap every 3 months to monitor, just in case, otherwise no problems. Paps always came back no problems. Have had no problems related to the surgery (other than healing from the body's loss of an organ...energetically but nothing physical). I am feeling great and have not had a period since after Feb. 2005.
Now I will not be niave and say this is for everyone. Nor will I assume others have as great of a gyno that I do. I am just saying it is not always an 'evil' thing.
Peace,
Beth
