The following is a summary of the cancer treatment and recommendations from my experience, reading, research, nutritionist and naturopath Doctor.
I used an alternative treatment (Essiac Tea) the Tea helps boost the immune system to help fight the cancer. There have been many cases of cancer patients only using
Essiac Tea and getting rid of the cancer. Terminal cancer patients who Doctors said only had weeks to live, lived for several years with just using the Tea.
I also used several supplements to boost my immune system: Multi-vitamin (2 to 3 times a day with food), C (2 to 3 times a day with food), cod liver oil (1 a day) (I now use a fish oil that has been tested to not contain mercury.), MGN3 (1 a day), grape seed extract (1 a day).
My recommendations for treating cancer:
1. See a Naturopath Doctor (they cost about the same a regular MD but insurance doesn't cover it). They will know how to change your diet, supplements and lifestyle to help become cancer free.
2. Buy organic food (including your meats) - Why? To get rid to the pesticides, hormones,
Antibiotics and genetically modified ingredients in your food. Pesticides have been linked to many cancers. You can find organic food at Whole Food Markets.
3. Research the
Essiac Tea with the links I provided at the bottom and decide if it's right for you.
4. Try to create a less toxic environment to help your immune system fight the cancer and not the toxin's in your environment (Ex - Try to use non-toxic cleaners in your home – the products at seventh generation are non-toxic -

Another alternative cancer treatment is 714X that is said to boost the immune system. I know of some people who have used 714X with
Essiac Tea and became cancer free. If you would like to learn more about 714X call Sue Best at (781) 871-9844, her Son had cancer and now is cancer free after using 714X and Essiac Tea. What I used to boost my immune system:
I used MGN3 from (http://www.lanelabs.com) to help boost my immune system. I also use Liquid Echinacea Vitamin C from (http://www.integrativeinc.com/products/display.asp?id=1145&cpmid=1071) but I purchase this from my Naturopath.
Some mushrooms are very good immune system boosters:

Foods to avoid (that hinder the immune system): Sugar, any food with hydrogenated oils, peanuts in any form (even organic), alcohol
