Starting Dr.Rath protocol/questions...
I have just received by mail my order for L-proline powder and L-Lysine powder to begin Dr. Rath's protocol. It calls for :
l-lysine - start at 2000 mg at each meal, 6000 mg per day
l-proline - start at 2000 mg at each meal, 6000 mg per day
(plus many other things that I am already taking)
I have a couple of questions if anyone can help me.
1) I don't know how grams/milligrams/teaspoons break down to each other. I want to use the protocol using teaspoons since I have bought the powder. So, how much teaspoon (1/4, 1/2, or 1??) would equal 2,000 mg at each meal????
2) as you can see, the protocol says "at each meal" for both the l-lysine and the l-proline. However, upon receiving my products, the label on the l-lysine says to take l-lysine BETWEEN meals. So, it would seem the manufacture contridicts Dr. Rath protocol for the l-lysine I have received. The label does say to take the l-proline with meal, so I am only concerened with the l-lysine. Does anyone see any reason that I can not take BOTH the l-lysine and the l-proline TOGETHER at MEALTIME?????
I do take Celebrex. Would that be like the cox-2 inhibitor you are talking about?
Thanks!
