I'm a 21-year-old female.
I want to say at least once or twice a month, I start getting worsened anxiety and panic plus other weird symptoms that I think are die off, but I never see any candida in my stool.
These symptoms include:
-Dry mouth
-Bad breath (that I can smell when I simply talk)
-Weird pressure headache and neckache
-Increased anxiety/panic with no initial cause
-Weakness
-Fatigue
-Inability to take on minor stresses
-Heart palpitations/fluttering
-Nausea
-Itchiness everywhere (scalp, entire body)
-Lack of hunger
-Pale yellow urine that is cloudy with white dots and debris (candida/toxins?)
-Stomach cramps that feel like something is being twisted + burning pains (travels from my lower right hip area to left hip area to more central)
-Rotten-smelling feces that are whole and in separate chunks at the same time, kind of watery (smell like gasoline, green when wipe)
-Chronic yeast/bacterial infections that won't go away except on my period that return 2-5 days later (smells sour, cottage cheese discharge that ranges from beige to lime green, itchiness, pain, swelling).
Does this sound like die-off/detox at all? Or something else?
Please help me out here; thank you!
All women who were helped initially had vitamin D levels in the lowest 25% of normal at the outset of the study. They were given a single dose of 300,000 IUs of D3 five days before the onset of their menstrual cycle.
That's a very large amount of vitamin D. Perhaps simply ingesting a higher amount (higher than the 600 IU currently recommended) can lead to a build up of normal vitamin D in the body which could eliminate such a huge amount.

TUESDAY, Feb. 28 (HealthDay News) -- Menstrual cramps are the bane of many women, but new research suggests that a form of vitamin D may one day be added to the meager list of pain relievers for the sometimes disabling condition.
A small study in Italy found that a single, high dose of cholecalciferol -- also known as vitamin D3 -- was linked to a marked reduction in menstrual cramps, with the largest benefits observed in women reporting the most pain at the beginning of the study.
U.S. experts cautioned that it's too early to recommend vitamin D3 to those experiencing cramps -- estimated to occur in at least half of all reproductive-age women -- because the study didn't delve into possible long-term risks of taking high doses.
"It's provocative in the fact that the results are pretty amazing," said Dr. Robert Graham, an internist and vitamin D expert at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. "But the dose [given] is a lot more than conventionally given for any condition."
The study was published Feb. 27 in the Archives of Internal Medicine.
In the study, 40 Italian women were split into two groups: one receiving a single oral dose of 300,000 IUs of vitamin D3 and the other getting a placebo five days before the expected start of their menstrual periods.
After two months, average pain scores dropped 41 percent for women assigned vitamin D treatment, while no difference in pain was reported in the placebo group.
Also, the women who took vitamin D reported no need to use nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), such as the pain reliever ibuprofen, to manage their pain in the two-month study period, while 40 percent of those assigned to placebo reported using an NSAID at least once.
Menstrual cramps, known by the medical name dysmenorrhea, typically begin just before or at the start of a woman's menstrual period and can last several days. Experts attribute the pelvic pain to prostaglandins, a hormone-like substance that contributes to the contraction and relaxation of muscles and blood vessels.
Vitamin D3 apparently helped hamper prostaglandin production in study participants, easing their pain, said Dr. Jill Rabin, chief of obstetrics and gynecology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, N.Y. The vitamin is also known to have anti-inflammatory effects, Rabin added.
"The bottom line is, it looked like it worked," said Rabin, also head of urogynecology at the hospital. "It was a very well-done study, but my comment is, it was one study. It asks more questions than it answers, which is the sign of a good trial."
The 300,000 IU dose of vitamin D3 given in the study also far exceeds the daily intake of 600 IUs recommended for American women of reproductive age, both Graham and Rabin said. And since the study period lasted only two months, there was no way to tell whether such a high dose produced any toxic long-term effects.
Currently used methods of controlling menstrual cramps include NSAIDs and -- among those with severe pain -- birth control pills. But both have potential risks: NSAID users can experience stomach or kidney troubles, for example, while birth control pills are linked to blood clots in certain women. The cost of vitamin D supplements would be roughly comparable with both of these remedies.
Vitamin D use has also been widely studied as a possible preventive for many other conditions, including heart disease, certain cancers and autoimmune disorders.
The Italian study participants all had blood levels of vitamin D measuring in the lowest 25 percent of normal at the study's outset, although the researchers didn't report the womens' blood levels afterward. Experts wondered if women with higher blood levels would experience such dramatic cramp relief as observed in the study.
Graham and Rabin agreed that much larger trials should be done before they would recommend vitamin D3 use to any of their patients for cramp relief.
"From a symptomatic standpoint, it's something to be considered, but more studies are needed to see the risks and benefits," Graham said. "Studies like this are starting to show that vitamin D is ubiquitous in receptors in our bodies . . . but it needs further explanation."
Since your last series of posts, I ran across info that reminded me that long periods can reflect low thyroid function. Might fit in with what you're noticing regarding supplements.

Weight gain even though I watch my calories and am consistent with my diet and exercise.
Violent menstrual cramps along with vomiting the 1st day of my period and I have diarrhea for 2 days of my period. This has gone on for 13 years. For this I am taking digestive bitters and magnesium citrate.
Brain fog. Extreme fatigue. Poor memory. Insomnia. I was told by my chiropractor I have severe adrenal fatigue. For this I ordered the Adrenal Tonic.
Constipation. For this I am consuming water kefir and more fiber such as oat bran.
I checked my basal body temperature for 3 weeks and it was very low, averaging around 96.7 degrees Fahrenheit. For this I ordered the Thyroid Tonic.
Also, I am not taking any prescription or OTC medicine. I am starting to get desperate because my college classes are about to start up again and it is so hard to function with all of these issues standing in my way. Am I on the right track?
Yes, it sounds like you have pretty much covered the bases based on your symptoms. The one other thing I would recommend is some rice bran for the gamma oryzanol and B vitamins to help with the hormone balance and for the fiber to feed the flora that deal with the hormone metabolites.
Everyone is different but about how many months till I start to see improvement?
People generally start responding within a wee or two. But it will depend on various things such as how bad the glands are screwed up, stress levels, etc.
When you recommend B vitamins what do you mean?What specific brand of B vitamins?Or do you mean bee pollen?
I prefer natural sources such as pollen, yeast, rice bran, etc.
I someone wants a synthetic though I recommend a B50 twice daily. No particular brand.

All I saw you mention about your periods is the severe menstrual cramping. This is likely from a lack of magnesium and/or too much calcium. Elevated prostaglandins can also contribute to this. Consumption of high amounts of meat can increase prostaglandin levels.
In my first post I mentioned that I vomit and have diarrhea the 1st day of every period, along with horrible menstrual cramps. This has gone on for about 13 years. I have ask several Doctors and half have suggested I am lying and the other half say they have never heard of this happening. I have always been curious as to why.
It is the prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are strong smooth muscle contractors causing the menstrual cramps, vomiting and diarrhea.
Prostaglandin inhibitors are frequently used by women to relieve menstrual cramps. But these drugs are very dangerous. Better choices for preventing the smooth muscle contractions include magnesium malate or herbs such as cramp bark or silk tassel.

Yes, Ibuprofen will help with menstrual cramps since the cramps are in part due to prostaglandins. And ibuprofen is a prostaglandin inhibitor. But for anyone reading this that is still suffering from menstrual cramps there are safer alternatives, in particular the smooth muscle relaxants such as magnesium malate, kudzu root, cramp bark or silk tassel.
I wish I had that info years ago! Back then, there was no internet. I used to spend time leafing through books looking for any natural options. For example, back then a nurse told me to really up my calcium intake---even recommended a supplement. I tried that---didn't work. But I digress... As I said before, now I just don't use any NSAIDs---and certainly don't miss them either!
Calcium is a muscle contractor, so it can make menstrual cramps worse. Magnesium is the muscle relaxant.
The drug companies and the FDA have been hiding known side effects of drugs for years. Again with NSAIDs like ibuprofen they have known these drugs increase the risk of heart attack and stroke for decades. It was not until just a few years ago that these side effects of NSAIDs started coming to the public light. Same with Premarin, which we have know for an extremely long time increases the risk of cancer. But the FDA did not admit to this well known fact until about 6 years ago. This is why there is a major problem with how cozy the FDA is with the pharmaceutical companies.

Ibuprofen is established to be ototoxic (nerve-cell damage causing) as you alluded to - a more common established cause of tinnitus than many doctors will openly admit. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people are likely giving themselves tinnitus at this moment by taking a seemingly innocuous non-prescription medication such as Ibuprofen, Advile or Alleve.
