Hi everyone, I'm 21-years-old and have candida overgrowth and started battling it a year ago, slowly but surely. Was showing great improvements but seems to be getting worse somehow.
However, the past 5-7 months, my menses have not been the same. Before they start, my symptoms are as follows (that I never had before menses until my candida worsened):
Acid reflux?
Feeling fever-y without fever
"Choking" on mucus or something in my throat at night that wakes me up panicking
Feeling of dryness in throat
Hot flashes
Chills + shaking
Heart fluttering + pounding
Stomach + intestinal pain/burning
Increased anxiety/panic
Verge of panic attack + sense of doom
Vomiting (usually feel a lot better after vomiting, but weak and dehyrated)
Headache/migraine (sometimes)
I attached links below of my vomit. I know, gross, but it looks odd. Very bubbly, very white "clouds" of something, onion-looking objects, brown "threads?"
This ONLY happens before (1-2 days) my period or 1-2 days on my period. Very scary for me. Last month, I had a massive migraine and no hunger at all. I also get heavier periods, yeast/bacterial discharge with sour or sometimes a fungus-y rotten cheese scent, worsening cramps in stomach and back, nausea,
Depression on/before period, cramps that travel down my legs and sometimes make them numb.
Please help. My holistic doctor believes it's a mix of anxiety and anemia. My regular doctor suggested anxiety meds to see if these physical symptoms clear up before doing further testing. Not taking meds right now.
