•DMSO often is very helpful for sinusitis and a variety of infections of the nose and throat. Likewise, it is extremely helpful in dentistry, both for cleaning the mouth (e.g., by preventing bleeding gums), and by allowing the mouth to rapidly heal after dental surgeries.

•In this article, I will review the evidence supporting each of those uses, along with the data demonstrating the safety of these methods of DMSO administration and instructions on how to do them.

DMSO is a phenomenally effective medicine that can treat a wide variety of common, debilitating, or incurable conditions, which allowed it to rapidly take the country by storm (as both the public and the medical community saw its results and rapidly embraced it). Unfortunately, the widespread enthusiasm behind something that completely changed medicine and allowed people to care for themselves independently was unacceptable to the FDA. For the next two decades, the agency went to incredible lengths to suppress it (e.g., it actively defied Congress for over 16 years) and eventually made DMSO become a Forgotten Side of Medicine.

Note: extensive data shows that DMSO is a very safe substance with negligible toxicity.

In turn, one of the truly ironic things about this was that many of those who attacked DMSO later needed it. For example, the pioneer of DMSO discusses how Former President Lyndon Johnson sought his help in 1971 —after his FDA commissioner had just spent almost three years weaponizing the FDA against anyone wishing to use DMSO (which in turn set the stage for many of the police-state tactics the FDA would illegally use against natural medicine in the decades to come).

I believe I may have exfoliative cheilitis caused from hot sauce burns. Ok to explain what happened about 5 or so years I, like an idiot, fell asleep while eating hot wings... I'm not kidding like I said I'm an idiot. Ever since my lips have been slowly peeling and now my lips have red patches, dry up quickly and are thinner than before. Both top and bottom lips are bad but the top is definitely worse. I've seen many doctors and all of them have basically told me I'm screwed. I'm not sure what I should do at this point besides changing my diet but I am not 100% that will fix it. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading.

  One thing that comes immediately to mind is that of energy & how it relates to the body-mind mechanism.
  
  What is meant by that is that the body-mind mechanism has energy that flows through it. If that energy is blocked & prevented from moving naturally, it will eventually find another way to express itself. That way may be an unnatural way, which may be detrimental in form. The body would appear, then, to attack itself in unexpected ways, possibly causing physical and/or mental discomfort in a variety of ways.
  
  So, the suggestion is to find creative ways to move the energy. For example, get some exercise - go for a run, bicycle or workout at the gym. Get into a variety of different activities, volley ball, ping pong, lift weights or just go for a long walk.
  
  Acupuncture, acupressure, pressure point massage or seeing a chiropractor are also different methods used to remove blocks within the bodymind mechanism.

    I should have specified that I am a 27 year old male, my diet is absolutely terrible and I don't get a lot of exercise working in IT so that may be a factor. Also my lips don't really crust up like other cases I have seen. I'm not sure if that is because I keep my lips constantly moist with lip balms or I actually might have actinic cheilitis instead of exfoliative cheilitis again not exactly sure.

Given the nature of the damage I'm beginning to think that it's not cheilitis of any kind. I used black salve and it worked fine (moles but be careful not to use too much) but unfortunately, I added vitamin E with other oils & additives, in the holes that the salve made in order to prevent scarring. Now I have perma elevated welts (that look like bug bites some larger than others see picture links) & black salve doesn't work on this (it pushes them down then they come back up). Any thoughts on what I can do to get rid of the bumps/welts (they haven’t changed in 8 years)?

I wanted to share this after having pimples and boils on my butt for most of my life.

It was nearly two years ago when things started getting bad. It spread to the front of my thighs, and to my lower abdomen. I was getting painful boils and was convinced I had serious staph going on. But the antibiotics a doctor gave me made things worse after I stopped taking them. And the antibacterial washes had little to no effect. I bascially struggled through trying everything I could over a 12 month period.

In the end I found a simple solution. 1 thing is mandatory, the other two are optional:

1. AmLactin (mandatory) applied daily in the morning. It says twice a day but I've only done once. At first is just seemed to make my skin smoother and a littler clearer but bumps were still forming, then after a month they stopped forming. IT HAS TOTALLY CLEARED UP. You have to give it time - those bumps were already on the way. This stuff is a GODSEND. I conintue to use it every day. Whether it's keratosis pilaris, or boils caused by staph I beleive that this stuff works on both.

2. Retinoid Cream (optional) I used this for a month at the beginning, applying a little each evening. I think it helped with scarring and also to iniitlaly get things under control. Depending on how sevee your bumps are, you may find this useful.

3 Indian Healing Clay (optional) this applied as a mask over the area a few times a week will help to dry things out, bring out impurities. I don't use it anymore but it was helpful in the beginning stages.

I now simply apply a bit of AmLactin every day and my butt is as smooth as a babys, and totally clear. This is actually unbelievable to me given how it;s always looked growing up. I had accepted it was GENES.

Dream about almost or what seems like webbed hand; I look at my hands and discover to my horror that my fingers look as though they are stuck or joined together, hands are almost swollen. I remember thinking that I used to have fairly decent hands just a few days ago. I realise that I will have to separate fingers and proceed to do so.
I'm sure this may be a fairly obvious dream to many, alas I'm struggling to provide a meaning. Any ideas ..thank you for reading.

Can anyone tell me what this could be?
I feel like I am infested. They are layered. Also seem to have teeth or hooks as seen in the photo. Ive seen my lesions close (heal?) before my eyes. Patterned tread marks from movement? Lesions seem to be in a two dot pattern in pairs. Black freckles or new under the skin lesions can appear overnight.

You can pull a triangular head off sometimes out of a wound. Or a small worm that breaks off.

    Yes!! My physician diagnosed Morgellons and I don’t know if that is what you have, but could be from your description (“teeth”, yes, but I don’t see anything move that way.) I will share what has worked for me. (See more detail at my posts on this forum under “Re:I’m confused”.)
    
    To me, regardless of what they say, I think it is a type of worm infestation (“fibers”), possibly a form of synthetic biology. My physician said it began appearing about 10 years ago (or about 15 years on this forum). There seems to be a concerted effort to deny its existence in conventional circles, but my physician says she practices Functional Medicine, and those physicians recognize Morgellons as real.
    
    She ran a full lyme panel (mine was negative) and tested for aspergillus, due to the “black mold” appearance of the releases, also negative. But she assumes an unknown spirochete is present (as in lyme disease, same family as syphilis). So she has me on 100 mg doxycycline twice daily, long term. She also has me on fenbendazole (Safeguard or Panacur only), 1 g packet daily,(10 pound dog) pulsed, 4 days on, 3 off. Yes, a pet dewormer! She says I need to be on these two medications for about six months after my skin clears because of the risk of neurological impacts (brain fog anyone?) and unusual cancers (some have even used fenbendazole to treat cancers).
    
    My physician says fenbendazole is similar to HCQ or Ivermection. She thought about adding Ivermectin but says it doesn’t always work a second time. Also the scrutiny on these medications. But she says I’m basically on the Covid cocktail, so my risk of that is negligible.
    
    We tried adding a topical Ivermectin. Going up on dosage orally is painful, since it kills the parasite at the skin but it is trapped by the layers above. But Ivermectin cream has to be special ordered, and runs $700-800. So I mix a packet of the dewormer with 1/3 jar Albolene (oil based cleanser, the best for this), and a couple pumps of Le Mieux O2 calming gel to help it dissolve (this runs about $22 but a substitute might be Aloe gel), and blend in a mini processor.
    
    I apply the cream in the morning and periodically thru the day, working on my skin, applying the cream most generously (needs this). I use x9 magnification and tweezers, sweeping the area to remove hairs/fibers and get the lymph flowing. You will see the lymph work and it is important. I also massage the cream n (sometimes with pressure) and remove any debris (all kinds of stuff) that comes out. Keep the skin relaxed! Tense skin does not release. Massage in the cream so the mass loosens up and it gets in there. Massaging is the only way to release the big, long, whisker like fibers. It is time consuming, I won’t kid you, but does work. I listen to a lot of podcasts while I work.

You could have coinfections such as babesia or bartonella as well and need specific diagnostics for those. Morgellons is 100% a tick born Lyme disease and per your description sounds like Morgellons. Treatment is available but it’s complicated and lengthy but worth it. Lyme and its coinfections will not get better by anti-parasitic meds. It is not a delusional mental disorder. Only known way to contract it (and hence Morgellons) is via a tick bite. Late stage Lyme Morgellons will usually require 3-5 different Antibiotics plus potentially pulsing Anti Malarial meds if Babesia is involved. General practice Docs not going to have knowledge to treat it. IF you contracted Lyme and caught it in first few months lucky you! It can be knocked out relatively quickly. However later stages use cyst forms to hide from your immune system and that is when things get dicey. Good luck and know there IS treatment out there that works

  I have just completed 21 days prazi and 7 days triclabendazole. I have been battling these for over a year and have thrown everything in the way of topical and antiparasitic, but I am worse off than when I started. I sadly have a TON of scars - they turn purple in the shower, I have a ton of "freckles" that weren't there a year ago, mostly on thighs and arms. My left hand and arm are so infested at the moment.
  
  I tried to use salicylic acid on the nest on my hand and all hell broke loose on my arm. There are HUNDREDS of bloody clot like worms under the lesions and the skin around the lesions can get thich, rough, tough. My attempts to debride or remove the skin has led to worsening and you can scrape the red blobs out - it is horrifying and unending. Every time I think I am winning they get worse. If left alone it just gets worse more slowly. Skin lesions seem like gel - if you try to remove, they close over immediately with a plasticness.
  
  I have seen that things CAN heal quickly - BUT - out of nowhere - I have had a large bump appear and turn into a plastic, worm filled nest mess that takes weeks to get rid of. This is an absolute nightmare.

    ivermectin comes in 6 mg in my region..., (maybe you can find 12 mg) so I used Ivermectin about 8 to 12 pills to maximize the effect for 1 week, both taken one in the morning 8 or so, (72 mg) and the other Albendazole after 12 noon... then rest for 3 / 4 days and see how you are feeling, then start another week or 7 days treatment, repeat treatment until you have none
    In my case, the itching stopped...

    JSYK, the whole reason I'm here on CureZone is b'cos I'd recently adopted & hand-reared (approx 3.5 mos ago)a feral kitten whose mother & siblings died from Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV) & in addition to having the usual suspects (roundworm, etc.) as well as suffering from Cerebellar Hypoplasia (from FPV) I was slow to learn that the lil guy was also harboring Threadworms (Strongyloides tumefaciens)!! And guess who else was victim to these monsters, but yours truly :( Seriously, I have had animals as pets throughout my entire life & never knew about these creatures until just recently. And it's affected a lot more than just my gastrointestinal tract (!). I'd sought help initially thru my GP (who prescribed Mebendazole) & when that didn't clear it up (after refill/2nd round of Mebendazole) & was suffering from UTI, referred me to a G.I. specialist, who wouldn't see me, as I don't have insurance (self-pay): Went thru the ER @ area hospital w/worms that I'd expelled, in hopes that they'd prescribe a stronger anti-parasitic & the ER Dr basically inferred that I was suffering from Delusional Paratosis!! They did send samples to Lab, in addition to collecting both urine & blood samples-which I'm going to pick up today (results). I wanted to choke the life out of her & I'm a warm-hearted, loving person-but was so angry & upset that I was so casually dismissed (as being crazy, basically). So, I left insulted/disgusted, after wasting 5+ hrs @ hospital & was able to eventually find my way here, where I've just started reading posts about various meds, bugs, etc. I had to make my own diagnosis, w/the help of the internet. Initially, I thought it was Strongyloides stercoralis, but it's a slightly different strain (Strongyloides tumefaciens).
    Just started on Ivermectin (pour-on, for cattle/taken orally) while the thiabendazole arrives (yes, I know that it's supposed 2B take 2gether @ the same time, but I was experiencing an advanced infection w/them coming out of my mouth, eyes, you-name-it). In any event, I hope that I haven't grossed you out too badly, but I wanted to assure you that I could somewhat relate to your listed symptoms. I sincerely hope that you're able to find relief from these horrible creatures! Please respond as time permits. (I welcome any/all CureZone members input. Thank you!!)
