One thing that comes immediately to mind is that of energy & how it relates to the body-mind mechanism.
What is meant by that is that the body-mind mechanism has energy that flows through it. If that energy is blocked & prevented from moving naturally, it will eventually find another way to express itself. That way may be an unnatural way, which may be detrimental in form. The body would appear, then, to attack itself in unexpected ways, possibly causing physical and/or mental discomfort in a variety of ways.
So, the suggestion is to find creative ways to move the energy. For example, get some exercise - go for a run, bicycle or workout at the gym. Get into a variety of different activities, volley ball, ping pong, lift weights or just go for a long walk.
Acupuncture, acupressure, pressure point massage or seeing a chiropractor are also different methods used to remove blocks within the bodymind mechanism.
