I haven't really ever thought about it but I'd think that lying on the grass would be fine but I don't think it would completely take the place of walking barefoot. I guess you could move your feet back and forth over the grass. If there is a reason you can't walk then of course I would get my bare feet on the ground anyway I could, just be sure to move them around not just leave them sitting still.
Dr. Christopher and Dr. Schulze clearly said to 'walk' barefoot daily, but then Dr. Schulze said he took some of his patients to the beach and had them walk, swim and roll in the sand. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the friction that is created when you walk, when your feet are moving on the grass.
When I barefoot I can actually feel the electricity leaving my body. My legs tingle, it's the best feeling. The first time I barefooted I tingled much more than I do now because I had so much stored up electricity that needed to be released but I still feel the tingle every single time I barefoot.
I really don't know the answer to your question, I'm sorry but what I've posted is just speculation on my part. But by all means do whatever is necessary in your circumstance to get those bare feet moving in the grass ;)

I agree Mamacatpatch, I found Dr. Christopher's explanation on barefooting on one of his CDs and he explained how it works perfectly! I did a post on it the day I listened to the CD and I've been barefooting ever since. It really does make the world of difference, something so very simple! It's amazing how our whole body is connected!
So one of the CD's had the reason why we should be barefooting every single day. Here is what I found out. When we’re born we have a soft spot in the top of the head and as it closes up the opening is still available so that the universal mind or the power of God can come through the top of the head and go on down the spine and into the chakras and distribute itself through the whole body. We live on this electricity and this electricity operates our organs. The electricity is excellent as long as its fresh and free flowing. As it comes into the top of the head and goes down the spine, down through the legs, its supposed to be grounded out into the earth and a fresh supply continues to come in. But if we don’t go barefooting to ground it out into the earth daily then we walk around with static electricity which affects the nervous system, not good at all. When we go barefooting we have a free flow because we've grounded the static electricity into the ground, but if we don’t let the electricity out by barefooting then we become static and as the electricity accumulates in the body it gets so high and becomes so heavy that new electricity can’t come in. We need to ground it out into the earth daily by barefooting. If we don’t it affects our nervous system and we can’t sleep, we get grouchy, or whatever way it affects a body, we’re all different. We’ve got to get rid of the static electricity that’s in our body before it becomes toxic or new electricity can't enter. Thus the very important instruction from Uny to go barefooting every day!
Hi Jo,
You are absolutely right about treating the underlying cause of the problem, band-aids only cover up for so long before the symptom comes back.
The first thing I would have her do is barefooting. Our bodies collect electricity and if it isn't ground out so a fresh supply can come in we become static and it causes all kinds of problems and not being able to sleep is at the top of the list. We need to barefoot in the grass to ground out the electricity everyday for 15-30 minutes in order to keep the flow going. Fresh in, static out.
I have had a problem sleeping for many years so when I first heard about barefooting I decided to give it a try. I barefooted in the grass for 15 minutes before I went to bed and that night I slept like a baby. It's so simple you wouldn't think it would help but I'm telling you true, it DOES work.
Here are a couple of posts you can read about barefooting:
Barefooting - BAREFOOTING" Static Electricity
I grew up at the beach so I was barefoot all the time in my youth, even when I wasn't at the beach I was barefoot. But as I got older I grew to be worried about all the nasties I might pick up on my feet lol so I started wearing shoes all the time. When I look back on my earlier years I realize I never had a problem going to sleep, it developed only when I stopped going barefoot so this made perfect sense to me. I now have no more worries about nasties, after all we can wash out feet lol!
Let us know how it works for her. There are herbal aids to help you sleep but I'd have her barefoot first and see how she does.
Blessings,
Willow
Uny you are on the ball lol. I was getting clothes out of the dryer and remembered I didn't post about removing anything that produced EMFs so I came to post but you beat me to it.
You ROCK!
I remember as a kid I only wore shoes when I had to. Its a shame we lose that freedom as adults, for some reason we just don't go barefoot anymore. Until the last few days I didn't know just how important it was. The freedom I feel now while barefooting is amazing, brings back memories of childhood, its wonderful and makes me tingle all over.
Thanks for the tip on eye cups. I found them at Mountain Rose, they look like glass but it seems like rubber ones would have a better snugness. I'll check out eBay.

That's great that you're off your meds, you go girl!
Yes, I get those looks too but you know what? Sooner or later people will see the truth. They can't help but see it when they see someone healed by using only God's natural herbs.
Big kudos to you.

I couldn't find a Barefootin video with live people Barefootin but this one is really cute. I love the beat to this song!
Dear Group,
Dr. Zimmerman called me to a meeting with Dr. Oschman and Clint Ober, who were investigating the effect of sleeping while grounded. They left me with a grounding pad and grounding cord to try out. I pushed the grounding rod into the lawn and connected it to the pad which I put on my mattress and over that the bed sheet. I was sleeping already with a grounded screen (aluminum fly screen) but that was underneath the mattress. I disconnected that screen which was previously grounded to an AC outlet.I didn't sleep that well, since the pad was for a twin-size mattress and I have a queen-size mattress, so half of the time I ended up sleeping only half on that pad. My guess is that's why I didn't sleep well. So I got up and plugged my own screen back into the AC outlet. Then I slept fine. The next night I tied both the pad and my screen together to the grounding wire and slept fine.
Now comes the interesting part:Dr. Oschman's theory was that we are not anymore grounded and therefore we develop, e.g., arthritis or other forms of inflamation. Apparently, he and Mr. Ober have observed that people got better with various conditions when sleeping grounded. They theorized that they lost negative charge. Well, I thought, if loosing negative charge is bad, how about giving some extra negative charge?
So I cut the grounding wire and inserted three nine-volt batteries such that the negative end was connected to the grounding pad while the positive pole was connected to the ground. I slept therefore with a negative 27 V with respect to ground.I slept awful! I had to get out of bed at night and take the batteries off. Then I could sleep fine again. The next night I switched the polarity to positive and it was fine - no difference to being grounded.
A friend of mine verified my experiment with an old fashion high voltage flash lamp battery. The voltage was somewhere between 250 - 300 Volts! First he tried the negative pole. He didn't have the pad that I got but used some fabric that was conducting. He had the most disgusting nightmares in his life! He also had to get out of bed and switch the polarity and slept no different then being grounded. So here is a hint that just the potential alone can have a tremendous effect on one's sleep (or aura?). If you are using synthetic materials you can easily charge yourself up in bed.
Mr. Clint Ober and Dr. James Oschman have made 'ground'-braking discoveries regarding the benefit of sleeping grounded. Still I am puzzled about the polarity effect to the extent that it turned out to be the exact opposite of what I had expected. I now slept for several weeks with a positive 9V and slept fine, however I think my tinnitus became worse but I am not sure if it related to the positive 9V. I found somewhere else on curezone that magnesium is supposed to help tinnitus since it might help relax the jaw muscles (TMJ). I am trying that right now and I disconnected the battery as well.I wanted to throw this into the discussion about fields (or potentials) and how they might affect your own 'field'.
Especially read the pdf presentation by Dr. Oschman (second link) - it is really interesting!http://www.onemedicineinstitute.org/download.html

Stephan
