gallbladder pain and burning
Hi. I am new to this group. I have recently found the curezone.com site and have been reading and applying some of the information. I wanted to share my story with others in the hope of understanding what is going on in my body.
On Jan. 16, I experienced mid back pain in the middle of the night following a chiropractic adjustment. Then it spread to my abdomen. I did not really know anything about
Gallstones but the gallbladder/liver came to mind. Following the bout of pain, I had loose stools. I didn't think it was intestinal flu though. A few days before this happened, I had a very painful bowel movement which was packed up and dry. I don't usually have that kind and don't know if it was related at all.
I went to see a shiatsu therapist the next day who did acupuncture and she said my gallbladder and liver meridiens were very tight. Four days later, I had another bout of this pain, but this time I went to the hospital in the middle of the night. They gave me a shot for pain relief and suspected gallstones/biliary colic. I was told not to eat or drink anything and return for ultrasound in 6 hours. Before the ultrasound took place, a surgeon came to speak to me about having my gallbladder removed. The ultrasound afterwards revealed a thickened gallbladder and multiple stones. I was to go immediately to the doctor's office to schedule keyhole surgery. He also prescribed
Antibiotics and Tylenol 3.
I began to research this on the Internet and found this site. I got the determination to try a flush after reading about other women who did this while breastfeeding. My baby is 9 months old. Since I'd not eaten anything I figured I would drink apple cider and water for the rest of the day. That night I did the flush with 1 cup olive oil and 1 cup fresh lemon juice mixed together. I fell asleep and the next morning passed loose, oily stools. I was feeling a lot better- no pain- and continued to drink apple cider, fresh pineapple juice and vegetable broth that day. My appetite came back by evening so I had some plain oatmeal and essene bread. The next day too I was careful what I ate and had a bowel movement that I thought had a few stones in but am not positive. They were dime size pieces of a lighter colour and they floated, but they were attached to the regular stool. I still had no pain and my appetite was coming back. That night at supper I ate soft brown rice and plain vegetable soup. Then I had another attack which continued all through the night and the next day too. Steady pain shooting through to my back, and nausea. My husband drove me to Chinatown in the city, nearly 2 hours away. I started to feel sick and brought up some bile. They gave me Lidan pills and soon I felt some relief. The doctor said my pulse was very weak and it was likely I had a big stone/s that was getting stuck. They gave me some herbs and a few bottles of Lidan. I went to a relatives house to cook the herbs, drank it and fell asleep. The pain was much much less and I even drove part of the way back. The herbs I would take for a week and the pills for several weeks. They were supposed to break up the stones.
I felt a lot better but didn't eat anything that whole day and the next day just juices and soup and a little brown rice and essene bread. But the following night, the pain started up again in my gallbladder. Not nearly as bad as previous though but still it interupted my sleep. I tried an enema as I hadn't passed stool in a couple of days and it seemed to get things moving. I still have an on-off burning feeling and pain in my gallbladder. No fever or jaundice. I thought I should wait another week at least before attempting another olive oil lemon flush.
Can anyone help me out? I want to avoid surgery and have not started staking the
Antibiotics . The last time I took
Antibiotics for a root canal, my baby broke out in a bad rash on her face and body. Your helpful comments and related experiences would be much appreciated.
