Yes, these things happened to me occasionally, but mostly it was no bowel movement at all for a day and sometimes 2 days. Now I go every day for about 7 or 8 days, then one day I can't go for some reason. The best improvements in regularity occured after one month on the mushroom extract, which reflects the results of studies on Champex.
Here's a link about the fecal condition improving in 6 test subjects after 10 days who previously had hard or watery stools: http://www.directfood.net/champex/condition.asp
Yes, it neutralizes all digestive odours. Your armpits will smell cleaner in about 4 weeks. Fecal odour is the strongest and takes the longest time to neutralize. It is indoles that causes that putrid odour and Champex/Odor Cleanse/Pro M remove this compound.
You can eat garlic/curry/whatever and won't smell the next day. You can notice the smell going away towards the end of the evening after eating these foods, and it's gone by morning. It supposedly removes tobacco odour from smokers too. I used to smell of beef stew for 48hrs after eating it, now it's no problem.
Hang in there sun. One week is not anywhere near long enough for this type of product to achieve results. Give it a month or 2. It took me 5 weeks to see the odor disapear. You might need a high dose of enzymes as well, like me, and I still take them or I'd be bloated all the time. Enzymes will help remove old feces too, if taken on an empty stomach. You might be backed up even if you seem to be regular. So there is a lot of waste that is being neutralized of odors little by little. You won't notice these small improvements and neither will other people. But when the odor is cut right down to nothing you will know. I obsessed over each day too and it frustrated me, but eventually just let time pass and kept on taking the capsules like you are. A few months from now you will be glad you stuck with it.
Take care.
