I started raw organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar and have been taking that for over 2 months now. I take 1-3 T a day. I mix it in applesauce. I also have been taking raw garlic, 1 clove most days.

I did 3 enemas today, one with acv, and one with a bit of hydrogen peroxide. Very cleansing. This is what I've been taking for the parasite and worm cleanse..and the results have been amazing so far. I'm on day 13. I plan on doing 30 days, then a 90 break..(do you think?) and then another 30 day of the tinctures. I'm purchasing the Lugols this week, so it may be a few weeks before I get it.

Speaking of being "cut", i've had half my thyroid cut out. I've got half a thyroid left. Dr's removed one lobe with multi nodule goitre. They left the other half as it was still relatively small. Is Iodine a good idea for me? I've started.

It will be interesting to document my journey on the Iodine supplement. I can't wait to get started! With the support here, I won't be too afraid.

I asked one of my ND's once, how come they don't treat goiter, and hypothyroid with iodine, she said she didn't know.

How come that is? Anyone have any opinions on it?

I have both put on weight and loss my hair. But I don't believe either of these things are a result of iodine, and I don't regret taking it, and I am not about to stop taking it. The only way that I think that Iodine might be responsible is because it has dislodged fluoride back into my system and I have not been well enough for my body to be able to deal with it.

But I know that both of these states are temporary, and whilst not pleasant, if they are necessary to get the junk out of my system, then so be it. Weight comes and goes, hair grows back. For some of us, it is part of the process. And I can live with that.

I was on synthroid for a long while. I had a endocronologis for the first 6 years I was on thyroid and he did end up putting me on 4 grains. I lost weight and looked pretty good. Then I moved and had an MD who lowered the dose, and I gained weight back. And so it went for the next 20 years..with different Dr.s and ND's. I've been on Armour for a couple years now.

I lost weight due to the raw food diet and I ate tons of fresh fruits and veggies, nuts, and seeds, avocados, and dates. I loved it, but went off it to some extent due to some extreme stress and gained 30 lbs. back. I've been working on getting back to being high raw if not 100% raw.

I've been taking multi-mineral tablets everyday, for about 20 days now. I do try to make green/fruit smoothies occassinaly. I used to do fresh green juices daily, so maybe I'll do that again.

I plan on doing the salt water flush, maybe tomorrow morning I'll give it a whirl.

My parasite cleanse is going so well, and it's really cleaning my colon that's for sure! I have had chronic pain on my right side for 16 years, from my lower back, hip to my thigh and knee, with some cramps in my right foot on occassion. I have had a numb spot just above my knee for the same length of time. I had guessed a worm years ago, or some sort of living thing..because of the nature of the pain, the ulcers that would come up sometimes, and the numb spot. I often did limp because of the pain, and my knee was very weak and would go out sometimes. I though losing weight would help, I've tried 2 months at the chiro, and swimming, jaccuzzi, hot baths, exercises, one on one personal trainer, and none helped..they aggravated it. The only thing that's really helped is the apple cider vinegar, and now the parasite cleanse. I think the numb spot is getting better and some feeling back and if it does, I might have to write my own book!

So, for me it's been iron supplementation for a year (literaly saved my life 4 years ago), then discovered the raw food diet (lost weight), now the acv, and the parasite cleanse..all miracles in my life! Next it's Lugol's iodine. I'm ordering it today!
