I am aware that the body is a complexe set of systems working that work together(when given the chance of course) to sustain each other. One is not independent of other, but in fact each is tightly interwoven with the other.
For the most part, I do not believe that mine is a lifestyle or diet problem - but then again I could be wrong. Two years ago I began with Yoga since I did not like the lack of exercise in my life.
About a year ago I turned toward a completely vegetarian diet, believing that my
Acne could be caused by toxins left behind by decaying meat, or perhaps from all the additives,
preservatives and who knows what else they put in there!
Alas, no change occurred. Through another Yoga course I was introduced to a raw food diet. Surely a live food diet, high in enzymes and intact vitamins would benefit the body and help it cleanse itself! I was practicing a mostly raw food diet for a quite a few months to give it a chance. The body does take time to change. Alas, no change.
Through some research I fell upon the subject of food combining. Finally! that was the answer. I must still be getting toxins because I'm combining proteins with starchy foods! To this day I still adhere religiously to the food combining principles - I've experience so many benefits from it. The
Acne remains. However, during many experimentations, I noticed that whenever I would eat a food with
Sugar - any type - two days later I would break out badly. I repeated the experiement many times and the results never fail. The breakout is quicker and worse if the sugary food is eaten in combination with a protein food.
So now I can control and even prevent my breakouts to a certain extent. Finally a breakthrough!
Maybe I had too much waste in my intestines. Yes, that had to be it. I needed to clean out my intestines. A capsule of salmon oil and a tablespoon of flax fiber with every meal should do the trick! Not really
I also culture my own kefir and consume some everyday. With all of its probiotic and other health benefits, it's sure to make a difference. Not really.
Also, as a side note I gave up alcohol, smoking about a year ago and don't recreational drugs. After hearing about toxins I've been paranoid of anything which could be causing them.
I was still getting
Acne though. What was I missing? Hmmm. Meditation, yoga, food combining, fiber, EFAs, kefir. Maybe I'm still toxic. Parasites! that must be the answer. I'm a very thin man. My friends and family always joked about me having a
Tapeworm so I thought maybe there was some truth to that. Maybe my toxins were byproducts of
parasites in my intestines. Time to get rid of them. I just came off a
parasite cleanse as per Dr. Clark. but there's not really any difference. I bought a zapper but I haven't gotten it yet. I'll start zapping once I do.
I also feel tired all the time. Hmmm. I'm thin, tired. Maybe my liver isn't functioning properly. Maybe it can't filter out all the toxins and so they have to come out through the skin. I decided to do a kidney flush yesterday as per Dr. Clark. Today I passed 100s of very tiny stones and a few larger ones(1cm). I do feel a bit more energetic today. All day it felt like I was on a caffeine high(I don't drink coffee so I'm just guessing that's what it could be compared to). As for the acne, I'll just have to wait and see.
All in all I lead a pretty healthy lifestyle, have the best diet of anyone I know and have almost exausted all of my possible causes for my acne. The last thing I could think of is draining my lymph nodes, a pretty good source of bacteria and toxins. Before that I'll wait for my zapper and see if the
Liver Flush had any effect.
