I am not taking that much but am tempted to try it out and see. I am in AZ and have always been careful about sun damage because I noticed some years ago I started getting those weird white spots here and there where the skin would no longer tan (can't remember the name for it). I am curious if there is a way to reverse those spots or if they are forever damaged.
The weirdest thing I have noticed re eyesight is for a few months I lost my reading glasses and didn't need them at all and now occassionally and suddenly I will have mornings where my eyesight is much worse than it ever was for close up reading. Then it goes away, but I wonder if this is related to detox - it is very noticeable when it happens.
I have some cream I have been using with lots of lugol's in it. I made it way too strong, though, and the other day I slathered myself and my entire body swelled up for about two hours. very weird. Also, within minutes I had some type of weird intestinal flush.
But I felt a lot better afterwards.
Well, a genetic predisposition one way or another also probably has a lot to do with it. Also, have you tried wearing the lugol's while out on the sun or were you just out there with nothing on?
I meant were you wearing any protection on your skin? I have heard mention of using iodine and coconut oil as sun protection.
yikes, I am originally from CA too, but I can tell you, six years in TX is something you NEVER get used to. Not when you are used to hilly, and green, and COOL.
At least you are in Austin. The music makes up for a lot. I was just north of Dallas. I hated it. I would take three showers a day and never felt dry.
Houston has FLYING cockroaches! FLYING!!
(I better quit messin with Texas. There are probably swat teams of Texas-lovers aiming at my head as we speak.)
