It sounds like you may do better on a cleansing diet. I ate this way for 30 days before my 60 day megafast:
Fresh fruit and plain yogurt smoothie
Raw vegetable salad dressed with lemon juice and good oil like
Extra-Virgin Olive-Oil or flax
Homemade vegetarian vegetable soup
Drink all the fresh juices you like while eating this cleansing diet: fruit juices in the am, when your body is naturally cleansing, and veggies in the pm when you are rebuilding.
Herbal teas are fine, sweeten with stevia if you like.
Drink lots of pure water while cleansing.
If you drink coffee or other caffeine drinks, DO NOT STOP COLD! Taper off and stop over 3-5 days while eating this cleansing diet.
Do not eat or drink anything not on the above list! This is a cleanse, and you can eat this way for extended periods until you feel you are ready to return to normal eating (add other foods a little at a time).
If you would like to try juice fasting, eat this diet for 3-5 days, THEN begin your fast! You should drink 3-6 cups FRESH juices daily, fruits in the am, veggies pm. You need to do a colon cleansing routine every day while fasting to help remove toxins quickly. I have posted the options many times on this forum.
You will go through some "withdrawals" while cleansing, which is part of detoxing. Detoxing addictive foods from your system will help you to understand better what your body needs, and help you get your eating habits under control.
Be sure to include moderate exercise as part of your cleansing program, as well as your long term health regime!
