From my personal research I conclude that
Arthritis is particularly caused by the body being constantly acidic. Heres a nice explainatary quote from the website below:
"When the blood’s pH is constantly low, the bone tissue releases stored calcium to neutralize the blood’s acidic pH."

Here is a list of causes of constant acidity and calcium loss:
1) smoking
2) alcohol (dehydrating)
3) carbonated beverages
4) caffeine
5) consuming excess protein (milk), acidic foods (meat), alcohol, excess salt or
Sugar (carbonated beverages)
6) lack of vitamin D from natural sunlight. (though this would be unlikely if living in a sunny country)
7) lack of vitamin A from vegetables
8) drinking distilled water (note: most carbonated beverages are made with distilled water) - distilled water is very acidic and can be quite aggressive, pulling minerals fromt the body.
9) gilberts syndrome. A lot of people have it but are unaware. You can get a cheap blood test from the doctor - liver function test. If the biliruben count in the blood is over 0, and especially over 30 then it could be you have it. This means that the bile from your liver is being partially blocked and it ends up in your blood causing mild jaundiced and constant acidity and the large intestine becomes a little constipated unable to absorb calcium leading to calcium loss. A simple hair mineral analysis would also show your calcium levels so high, because of the body losing so much.
10) Heavy metal pollution (mercury from fillings and/or lead from paint). The other big concern would be heavy metal toxicity - ie mercury overload from metal dental fillings.
I have a friend who suffered with
Arthritis and when I bought him the
Blood Type Diet book he avoided all the problem foods for his blood type O and doesn't suffer with it anymore.
well good luck
