Hello again, Christine,
I do not feel you are correct in asserting
that we are all ruled by fear. I feel it
takes courage to tell someone something you
feel they do not want to hear. Certainly,
you asked for what we thought, and that we
told you and you have reacted with a religious
diatribe asserting that evil may have gripped
us is a strong reaction considering that if
you possess a lack of fear, nothing any of
us would say would have upset you or dissuade
you from your chosen path.
You are right, death is underrated. I would
venture to say most of us do not fear death
any more than we feared birth. Myself, I take
care to say goodbye to friends, family, each
day and mean it since I have learned first
hand the difference a minute can make when I
was in a serious car wreck and it highlighted
how fragile each of our lives are.
Perhaps, its that fragility and the blessing
of life that we seek to protect. Even in you,
and as others have said, without the ability
to lay eyes on you and see for ourselves the
vibrancy of life that you are claiming, it is
best to err on the side of caution when giving
you advice. I belonged to a breatharian message
board once, for about a year, and so can agree
with Hopinso, that for most of us, breathing
air will not keep us in the category of living
but moreso, in the category of dying. There is
a difference and I will stick with my earlier
advice too, that if you wish to exercise this
choice, please find someone you trust to give
you some feedback just in case you need some
perspective.
Also, as a mother of a recovering anorexic
who compulsively worked to control what she put
into her mouth, I know what you know which is,
that at your age, no one can force you to do
anything you do not want to do. I share with you
what I shared with her as I released my own lack
of control and fear she would die...its that you
are loved. Those here love you enough to make an
effort. It may not be perfect, and the responses may
not be what you wanted to hear, but with that
love comes the voice of experience and above all,
hope that you find success in your cleansing
experience.
Your post was about you and not about us, and it
does not reflect on us if you are are striving for
enlightenment and yearning to let go, it does reflect
on us that we do care and that is all we can offer you.
I wish you success and peace on your healing path.
Sincerely,
Zoe
