Okay, so in the very near future I want to get a nice Ozone Generator, say in the $200-$500 dollar range (preferably a 'Cold Corona' model). Anyway, onto the questions:
1) I saw a few Ozone Air Purifiers that generate a small amount of Ozone (6 to 24 mg/h). Is this amount safe for continuous inhalation (such as for the bedroom?)
2) Does Ozone from drinking Ozonated Water reach your entire body? I read somewhere that because the Ozone dissipates so rapidly, it couldn't reach every area (I want to add it to my Bowel and Liver Cleansing routines for a very thorough cleansing)
3) Is there a website or list that contains information on what drinking Ozonated Water does for you?
4) I read that some Ozone Generators can generate Ozone higher than O3, such as O4, O5, O6, O7, etc. Would that provide even better detoxification than just O3 - Ozone and would drinking water with that high of Ozone be safe?
5) Ozone Generators that use the 'Cold Corona' method supposedly produce Nitrous Oxide a toxic gas, is this true?
If I can think of any more questions, I'll be sure to ask! Thanks in advance!

Actually, this low level would be so safe, it would probably be useless. I wouldn't even bother. Stick with either an enaly or air-zone or aranizer (although there has been some customer support issues with aranizer lately). It would take direct inhalation of strong ozone to do any damage to the lungs. The mild scent of ozone in the air will give you therepeutic value, but that will take 200 mgs/hr or better.

You've hit the nail on the head, my friend. That's the whole key to ozone thereapy and the subject matter of McCabe's book, "Flood You Body with Oxygen". Drinking ozonated water will get 'some' ozone into you. Putting medical grade ozone into you through insufflation will get some ozone into you. Ozone steam sauna will get some ozone into you. But no single method will be the end-all and completely saturate you. If you have a few hundred to spend, I'd seriously look at the Synergy unit found on ebay since it is medical grade and can be used for things like insufflation, water ozonation and so forth.

Just go back on this forum and you'll find bits and pieces. Not sure about a single point website that explains everything.

Most ozone generators do, but O4... is highly unstable and last only a fraction of a second. I woulnd't bother with that hype. Just concentrate on O3.

Only when using ambient air and when the air is moist.

MoreThis is a reply to # 774,615There are just two things I would disagree with rog about.
1)small air ozonators that actually put out what they say they do blow the doors off enaly and their outrageous output claims. 25 mg/hr is more than adequate for a small room.
2)general concensus among serious ozone users and manufacturers would not regard the synergy unit a medical device because it has stainless steel in the gas stream. I have not had the opportunity to speak with John about this yet but plan to do so in the near future. I do not dispute that it's probably a great machine for the money, but I think the envelope is being pushed quite a bit to call it a medical ozonator.
Other than these two niggly points, rog's post is well done and informative as usual.

This has been a source of debate for at least twenty years. Generally most serious ozone researchers concurr that avoidance of these ions is preferable. This is accomplished by a dual-dialectric ozone cell where the oxygen/ozone mixture of gas flows between two layers of glass and does not touch any metals. This is the preferred medical unit.Dual dialectric models are available in cold plasma and pulse injected cold corona.I personally feel that a cell made with high quality stainless is good to be used for every other ozone protocol except injection, AHT and bloodwork of any kind, since purity of the gas is of utmost importance for these protocols.

If you want to "shock" the room (flood it one time with ozone)I would recommend that you have a machine capable of output of 200 mg/hr or more to accomplish this. You will certainly not need the full output all the time in a small room. A smaller unit (18 to 25 mg/hr) will do the exact same job as the larger unit. It will just take longer to eliminate the pathogens present. As the need for ozone in a room decreases with the elimination of particles/pathogens/spores/chemicals etc, more ozone will be noticed in the room at the same concentration that was started with.
The Enaly 200 mg unit is a very reliable unit but I don't think it comes even close to producing what it says it does.
Aranizer is overpriced for a simple 60 hz ozonator.
For the money, I've had good experience with the air units from Aquasun Ozone, model HV 202 and model 308. You can buy them directly from Aquasun or from my website for the same price at http://www.ozonatedoilonline.com
2) Also interested in buying a good Water/Olive Oil Ozonator, can you recommend several high quality brands? Cold Corona, Cold Plasma? What else should I look for in features and construction of the unit?
I do not recommend you buy an inexpensive China made ozonator if you're planning to ozonate oil for any length of time. The air pumps almost invariably give out as the bubblers clog and the back-pressure increases on the pump, or the constant ozonation for hours will burn out the ozone cell.
From my discussions with John and even though I have no experience with his unit, I feel I could recommend the Synergy on E-bay.
Cold corona gives you way more bang for your buck than cold plasma when it comes to ozone output, but cold plasma is far more pure because there are no metals in the gas stream. Dual-dialectric cold corona in my opinion is the best of all worlds. I also have a reasonably priced one of these on the website. I also feel that if you're at all serious about using ozone, that one should use a generator exclusively with oxygen. The small air-fed generators cannot compare to the benefits or numbers of uses of an oxygen-fed generator.
If you want an inexpensive reliable generator that can be used with oxygen and can do water, oil and more,the Utility Water Ozonator on our website is a bargain. It's a 250 mg/hr unit when used with air, but boosts to almost 400 mg/hr when used with oxygen.
Longevity resources has a very good therapeutic unit.
Ozone services IMO has the best therapeutic units, but brace yourself for the price.

3) What are the differences between Medical-Grade and other Ozonators?
Medical grade generators use exclusively pure medical oxygen as feed source gas. As mentioned earlier,IMO dual-dialectric injection pulsed cold corona generators are the best. True medical generators have features that only a few on this forum ( I think) are familiar with, so i won't belabour you with a long explanation. These units cost thousands of dollars.

Very Informative, still have some questions (Ozone is of great interest to me):
1) So you're saying that a small Ozone Generator that generates 18 to 25mg/h will do the same job as "shocking" the room with a high output model of 200mg/h or higher? Can the small, low output model be left on 24/7 to keep the air clean?
2) Is this "Synergy" Ozone gnerator only sold on e-Bay? I can't seem to find it anywhere. You recommended a unit that is *Dual-dialectric Cold Corona* but I'm a tad concerned about the released 'Metal Ions" into the gas stream. I'm also looking at something fast and convenient, lugging an Oxygen Tank around plus the unit itself sounds like it would be aggravating would it not? Also, keep in mind that I'm still at student level and not particularly rich, so $300 to $600 would be the max range for me, unless there are extremely good units you can recommend. As well, can you recommend any good "Cold Plasma" units? Cold Plasma is very intriging to me.
3) More information regarding the differences and benefits of Air-Fed and Oxygen-Fed units would be very helpful as well.

Yes it can be left on indefinitely and yes it will eventually do the same job as a larger output unit.You may find you'll have to turn the output down later after the toxins are gone, or lung discomfort may happen, accompanied by coughing, as the lungs quickly shed their toxins.

I think you misunderstood a little bit of the puzzle here. Dual dialectric cold corona generators have no metals in the gas stream, nor do cold plasma units.The only real difference IMO between generators that have high quality stainless in the gas stream and dual dialectric generators is the fact that only dual dialectric and cold plasma generators should be used for bloodwork because of the necessity for purity. Examples of cold corona machines with quality stainless in the gas stream are the Mini Med, Maxi Med, Synergy,Nature Kleen and Utility Water ozonator. The Enaly units and all of the inexpensive China units have either aluminum or stainless anodes of questionable quality.
Examples of dual dialectric cold corona are the POG (Personal Ozone Generator) from our website, all of Ozone Services' generators, Longevity Resources' generator.
The only cold plasma unit I know of commercially is Dr Saul Pressman's Plasmafire unit. This unit would be way out of your budget, as would Longevity and OS.
I would recommend that you settle on a good air-fed cold corona ozonator for starters for water and oils. If I were you, given your budjet limitations, my choice would be the Nature Kleen. It's build like a tank and very reliable with a very good built-in air pump.
-3) More information regarding the differences and benefits of Air-Fed and Oxygen-Fed units would be very helpful as well.-
As you mentioned, oxygen fed units are more cumbersome and stationary, since an oxygen tank is involved, but the benefits of higher concentrations and purity of ozone make them desirable for home use. They also have far more potential uses. Portable air-fed ozonators on the other hand offer flexibility, portability, ease of use, and useable levels of ozone that will be useful for limited protocols ie ozonating air, water, produce, baths and oils.

Generally you purchase your own tank and have it refilled by an oxygen company or rent or lease a tank from an oxygen supplier. You would purchase your own pediatric regulator to regulate the supply of oxygen from the tank to the ozonator, and when the tank is empty, you exchange the tank with the company you rented it from for the cost of the contents. I don't know about the US, but in Canada, a really large cylinder leases yearly for $60 and the contents is about $46 each fill or replacement. A prescription is usually needed to acquire a medical grade tank, but welder's oxygen is just as good for almost all applications. You don't need a prescription for welder's oxygen. Just a good story. In many locations your owned tank cannot be filled locally, and the cost of having it shipped to where it can be filled is prohibitive and time consuming, leaving you without oxygen for the time that is required to have it shipped, filled and returned. I feel it's better to lease. Most oxygen companies even deliver the tanks for exchange.
Pediatric regulators can be bought on amazon.com or from Affordable Medical. Usually about $70 plus shipping. They also supply tanks if you want to buy your own. You would have to do your own Due Diligence on local supply for oxygen/tank refills.

A welder's oxygen tank (srew mount) requires a regulator with a CGA 540 fitting
Most medical tanks (square top) require a CGA 840 regulator fitting.

Well, it seems that the tank wouldn't last that long, the 240L one I saw on the Logevity Resources Model, and it sounds like I'd be filling up the tank all the time which could get expensive and annoying. I'm looking for something that doesn't release contaminants into the stream, something that I could use for Ozonating Water for drinking, Ozonating Olive-Oil and the air in my bedroom every so often.
How does Air and Oxygen fed units compare in terms of effectiveness, quality, price for filling the oxygen tank, etc?

I still say the best overall ozonator for you right now is the Nature Kleen. It will do air,water, and if you put a fan in front of the ozone bubbler, it will spread the ozone around your room. It's a good as any other small ozone product you'll find for the money and much better than most.
I think I covered the second question fairly well in the last post except that perhaps for convenience of portability and ease of use which an air-fed machine provides, it lacks the purity, higher concentration and numbers of uses that you get with an oxygen fed generator.

The Nature Kleen will do all of the above. It uses silent pulse-injected cold corona method for the ozone production and has a built-in air pump. I've had an ozone unit with the same ozone cell the Nature Kleen uses running on my hot tub now 24/7 for five years with no problems.

The Nature Kleen does have high quality stainless steel in the gas stream. This is not a worry for applications such as water and oil ozonation. It comes with tubing and a bubbler.
Just for the record, the company that manufactures the Longevity units also makes the POG (listed as Therapeutic Personal Ozone Generator) on my website. The POG is a whole lot less expensive. Just a thought.
The 240 l tank will last quite awhile if you're just using it to ozonate water. You use a very slow flow rate for this.Figure it out. If the tank holds 240 litres of oxygen and you're using it at a rate of 1/16 litre per minute, you get 240 X 16 + 3840 minutes divided by 60 = 64 hours of use. However if you're using it for an ozone sauna at 1/2 lpm, the time is greatly reduced. you'd have to check with your local oxygen company about cost.
