I weighed. I'm down to 210...from 254 well over a year ago. Just by small changes in my routines...mostly to avoid becoming a diabetic, and to make myself more comfortable while eliminating gallstones.
The only 'cleanse' I've been able to incorporate is a little magnesium oxide mixture with lemon juice, from time to time. Apparently, that's the 'least absorbable' form of magnesium.
I do nothing on a regular basis. I'm hesitant, I guess. Maybe 'chicken'.
I do find that the further I get from MSG, the better my symptoms.
My indescretions, such as store-bought baking and Chinese food, are MUCH more infrequent and further between.
A staple in our grocery shopping is a big box of 'organic' salad greens. I nibble on it often, when I feel like 'a little something'. Mostly my extra trips to the fridge fetch me 'acceptable' snacks. Very seldom do I want a starchy or creamy 'feed' (which has plagued me all my life). Mostly, when I do have bread, I drizzle on a little extra-virgin olive oil (green bottle), and slap on some chopped garlic, or thin slices of onion. I might top this with half an avocado, or a few spoons of cottage cheese. And some Celtic grey
Seasalt , for the minerals.
My recent favorite dressing has been a kind of Caesar, made of a free-run egg, the olive oil (maybe a little Udo's Choice), a small squeeze of lime or lemon, a tsp. or two of a super goat's cheese, garlic, and the salt...with the tiniest trace of cayenne...all whipped, and tossed with a huge bowl of the salad greens.
I can eat the whole thing at one sitting (blush), and feel satisfied for ages, or I can eat on it through the day. (Yes, I eat veggies for breakfast. Always have.)
I've always eaten, at least, a couple of eggs each day, since Hector was a pup. With the one raw egg on salad greens, my egg consumption has been cut in half. Suddenly, a cooked egg is very unattractive; the raw one being so rich! Go figure!
Maybe it's that little bit of goat cheese?
And, for the first time in nearly seven decades, my bathroom habits are regular.
Probably it's all the things I've tried, combined, but, you can bet your bottom dollar, I'm going to keep doing this stuff!
So, how far do I have yet to go in 'losing' (feels more like 'winning')? I don't have a clue!
I used to be 5 feet 6 and 3/4 inches...and almost fine-boned. Don't know what I am now, pushing 70.
Anybody have a 'chart', or a calculating formula?
I keep writing here, whenever I can, because I see you are reading. I can hear you breathing!
Your stories are going to be excellent reading, I just know it.
Success is awe-inspiring! It makes a person's voice go soft, and others take notice. Even a little success lifts everyone. It promises more, and tells us anything is possible.
Tell me what I'm doing right.
My best,
