Interesting statistics from internet Forums: People are about 100 times more likely to report a negative experience with any therapy, then a positive! For every single person reporting a negative experience, there are at least 100 people who have had a positive experience, but they were never motivated to write a message about it. Being healthy and being pain free, or symptoms free is not very motivating. Not as motivating as gallstone attack, or kidney stones attack!
Why? Because, when we are healthy, we don't care about health. When we are healthy, we don't frequent health forums. When we are healthy, we don't contact newspapers asking them to publish our story. Let's face it: majority of people visiting CureZone are people who have some unpleasant health problem. Once they solve their problem, majority (but not all) leave CureZone without ever reporting positive results, and the only time you ever hear back from them is when they encounter another problem, and they come back asking for help. Those who are successful in curing or managing their health problems are usually leaving CureZone while those who are not very successful are staying and trying, while in the meantime, posting messages about their unsuccessful attempts to regain health, or about problems encountered.
Don't get me wrong. This is not something that is unique to Alternative medicine or something that is unique to CureZone. This is something that is common on all health forums. I will give you just a few examples from mainstream medicine. Take a look at Gallbladder Surgery Forum: http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=439
Of over 400 messages, you will find 5 people reporting positive experience after Gallbladder Surgery while you will find hundreds of people reporting negative. You will also find many stories where Surgery caused serious health problems even death.

The thread contains over 200 messages, and you will find 5 people talking positive about Gallbladder Surgery!
By reading those messages and by naturally estimating your chances based on those reports, you may believe that there are very many people dying as the consequence of gallbladder surgery, when in reality, that surgery belongs to the group of safest surgical procedures and very few people die annually.
The reality is: 70- 80% of people feel just fine after the gallbladder surgery, and are usually symptoms free after few weeks.
But, could you get that picture by reading CureZone forums? NO way!.
Forums are often "painting" a very distorted picture of any therapy.
Why is that so? Reason is simple: people who have positive experience, those who are symptoms free and pain free after the surgery, they are healthy and they don't need CureZone.
Why would they come to CureZone and discuss Surgery? Very few are actually doing that, usually those who have some other health problem.
Now that you understand how hard it is to get healthy people to post a message, I have a very simple request:
Please, if you have had a positive experience with Gallbladder Surgery or with any therapy discussed on CureZone, please report it. It doesn't have to be a 3 page story. Even a single sentence can sometimes say more then a whole page of text. You don't have to write a book. You don't have to share your complete medical history with us. Just post a simple message.

If you completed at least 6 flushes, or if liver flushes have helped you regain health, please post your message inside that forum. It might help somebody. It is not important to post how many cholesterol stones you got, or how big those stones were. It is far more important to post what symptoms you were experiencing before, and how your health was changed after the liver flushes.
In case you got out some calcified stones, you should report it. Also, if your stones were analyzed, please report the results.
Please, do not post a message after a single liver flush. One flush is rarely enough to solve any health problem. Wait until you tried at least several flushes, 6, 10 or more, so that you are certain that flushes did-or did not work.
CureZone forums are not unique. If you read major news sites or newspapers, you will see that 95% of all stories on alternative medicine are negative stories. Often, it is death.

The head learns new things, but the heart forever practices old experiences.
- Now that we know how internet and media is creating an extremely distorted
picture of alternative medicine, it is fairly easy to understand why there are
still people who choose to believe to "Quackbusters" and their overly paranoid
websites. Quackbusters are convinced that alt-med people are evil. They
call alternative medicine sCAM. Do you know what is the difference between paranoia and
phobia? The fear in paranoia is usually associated with the
perceived malevolent intent of another person or persons. People with
paranoia are convinced that the causes of their fears are real and that their
fears are rational, while adults with phobias know that the symptoms of fear
or anxiety that they experience are excessive and irrational responses to
essentially benign objects and situations.
Quackbusters totally believe that majority of people involved in alternative medicine are bad, uneducated, stupid and are after your money (scammers). At least majority of them believe so. If you would read quackwatch website, you would come to conclusion that if you use alternative medicine, it will increase your chances of dying or being seriously injured roughly 100 times!?
Few days ago I joined a healthfraud mailing list (quackwatch mailing list), and in just a few days, I was able to read messages from at least 20 people who are overly paranoid about any and every form of alternative medicine. Some of them are so paranoid, that they call naturopaths blood sucking parasites who are sucking blood from their patients until patients die.
Here are few examples of humor from healthfraud list:- My aroma therapist stinks,
my bowel cleansing therapist is full of sh-t!
My acupuncturist keeps needling me,
I don't see eye-to-eye with my iridologist,
my graphologist can't read my writing,
I feel manipulated by my chiropractor,
my touch therapist won't keep her hands off me,
I can't count on my numerologist,
my homeopath doesn't give me much of anything,
and my psychic healer makes me sick.
I think my chiropractor is cracking up,
my massage therapist is rubbing me the wrong way,
I don't believe in my faith healer anymore,
my channeler is on a different frequency.
- My aroma therapist stinks,
Hear one side and you will be in the dark. Hear both and all will be clear.
- Anyway, there are some really interesting debates on that list, so I
suggest you to join and have some fun:

I have done four of Dr. Schulze's five day liver/gall bladder cleanses. I never felt poorly before doing any of them. I have always felt relatively well. April 2003 my cholesterol was 371. In December of 2003 I changed several life style habits. I refused to take cholesterol-lowering drugs, but did take one bottle of plant sterols (Cholest-off) last year.
I quit eating processed sugar, and all white flour products. I no longer drink sodas or coffee, and drink only pure water and herbal teas. I quit drinking cows milk, and very rarely eat meat, poultry or fish. I have focused on eating mostly fresh fruits, vegetables (usually 9-10 a day), legumes, nuts and grains. I 'juice' apples and various carrot combinations a few times a week. I eat oatmeal, freshly ground flaxseed and 10 almonds daily.
I have taken many vitamins, supplements and fiber in the past year. I started walking for about 40 minutes at least 5 times a week, and rebounding on my mini-trampoline for at least 10 minutes a day. I do some deep breathing daily and make sure I get a good nights sleep at night.
I have done two 60 day purges for micro-organisms, yeast and parasites - one in January and one in July, and plan to do one in January... and twice a year for the rest of my life, if I need it or not! (ha-ha, I believe EVERYONE needs this) I have done 4 liver flushes, and see evidence of improvement every time. My thyroid comes up ok on medical tests, but on the under-the-arm, first thing in the morning temperature, it has been low, along with some other hypothyroid symptoms, but gets closer to normal every time I do a liver flush.
I am a 61 year old female and am feeling good. My endurance is better than my 40 year old niece, who I helped for three days last week moving furniture and heavy house work. My gums are healthy according to my dentist, and a large hemroid is gone.
And the best news today for me is that my cholesterol is down to 250!! Down 121 points!! I know it is still too high, but I am encouraged and plan to focus more intently in getting it lower.
Who says this natural stuff doesn't work?!! It takes time, but I feel confident that my underlying health is steadily improving.

Sounds like you are committed to regaining your health and taking the proper actions to do so. I also commend you on avoiding the drugs. Sounds like you going down the right path to achieving your health goals. You have done a greaat job so far.
If you are interested in further improvement I can make some recommendations for you. First not knowing your knowledge on the whole subject, I would recommend that you visit Dr. Mercolas web site and frequent it if haven't already. You will learn much there about Cholesterol and dietary techniques, just type cholesterol into the search engine there. Cholesterol is a symptom of an underlying cause not the cause. These lower cholesterol campaigns on TV make me sick.
Your doing great avoiding Sugar and white flour but that may not be enough for you if you are still eating lots of grains, all grains break down into Sugar in the body and produce the same reaction, no too healthy.(I think oatmeal is on of the best grains if you must eat them, also sprouted breads) You may need more grain reduction, you can learn about that at Mercola.com. For accurate knowledge of how many grains you should be eating you should take a metabolic test to see if you are protein type or carb type. Protien type; less grain.
Next it sounds like you may need more healthy saturated fats. Don't believe the hype they are healthy, find out more on mercola.com type it in search engine there. A great saturated fat for you to use is organic virgin coconut oil it will provide many benefits for you, as well as bring up your body temps pretty quickly by stimulating the thyroid, possibly helping with your elevated cholesterol too! Of course mercola has a section on coconut oil as well!
With these things in your arsenal, I know you will achieve you hearts desire!

If you noticed, it was 10 months ago that I made the entry, and I was trying not to go into too much detail.
Thanks for mentioning Dr. Mercola's website. It has been a long time since I visited there, but I have read several other natural health books, and find I have been doing about 90% of what Dr. Mercola recommends on the advanced level for some time. In reviewing the website, I found the ERT info especially helpful.
A few months ago I added fasting and enemas to the spring/fall cleansing and detoxing and ongoing healthy lifestyle that I have developed. I feel very good, have lots of energy, and at 62 years old, have no health problems, and look at least 10 years younger than I am. I wish everyone could try this way of living to see how great it is.

As I said you are doing very good, I am glad that you found Mercola to be helpful for you. He is constantly bringing new content so it's easier to just get the newsletter to get a snap shot of the new info every week to see if you need to visit.
