I agree VCO can cause weight gain. My 24 yr old daughter & I both gained weight, and it has been the most difficult weight to loose. I'm so disappointed about it. I eat a very clean diet, my only fats (no fried foods) only grass fed butter, EVOO, almond milk (that I make) and salmon. But I love coffee; and I've read coffee's hard on your hormones if drink it first thing mornings. So I began blending 1T VCO with 2c coffee, and I'd drink about 4 cups of coffee ea morning =2T VCO. My daughter too. It was wonderful coffee.
We've read so much that VCO is good for wgt management, even though we had wgt gain, just kept thinking it would soon balance out so continued. Four mo and 8lbs later, I stopped. And I've never had weight like this; it's just a flab, and it isn't moving. My daughter same problem.
I love VCO, but it can cause weight gain for sure. We can figure out how to loose this weird weight. :-(
