i just today had a colonoscopy. my doc said, that i would have polyps all over my colon. is there a natural way to get rid of polyps? PLEASE HELP, i don't want my colon to be removed. I've seen the pic's he took, but to me it just looks like blisters. i have ulcerative colitis, my doc also mentioned that my ulcerative colitis is gotten so much better, no bleeding anymore etc.

MoreThis is a reply to # 57,566Hello, I've read in an old Greek book that Arum maculatum was somewhen used to eliminate polyps and ulcers. It's a rare and extremely poisonus plant with underground bulbs. I keep it in mind, because an old man here in my area has cured his internal hemorroids with the seeds of this plant(2 yrs ago). In your case the book says the bulb is used, but only dried (the fresh bulb is poisonus).I have UC but don't have still used it. other name of this plant is Arum vulgare. You can find some photos of the plant if you search in the Google. I think there are everywhere people to make those bulb juices.

This is a reply to # 57,622Look, here in Greece there is a person who produces juice from this plant(bulb). I don't know if it can be found on the market.But once i went to him to treat my U colitis I saw the juice and discussed about it. He told me that I don't use it because I have flare up. He didn't know about polyps.He just use it for cancer patients. (I read this remedy on my own in an old Greek book, that's all). Good Luck on your research.

Today I was diagnosed to have Entoameba hystolytic, after insisting that my homeopath doc examine my body for possible microbe infection. This is a reply to # 57,627well I've found a shop that can supply Arum maculatum bulbs. They are fresh (this year harvest) and cut so as to dry out the excessive moisture. BUT these would be available at the end of September, as the shopkeeper informed me. If you could find this earlier, just order it. If not you should wait for it (if you can so)!- Re: polyps dog13579

Beyond this, I have found right now that there is a plant that is concerned to inhibit, and if taken in a prolong period, to eliminate polys in the intestine and in the abdomen ( as the author of this book claims).It is Equisetum arvense.It's a common weed here in Greece. I think you can find it in USA and give it a try, until you find the Arum maculatum. If you find this plant I'm gonna send you details about its use.(tea, bath etc.)- Re: polyps dog13579

This is a reply to # 57,632hello there. Yes, the Equisetum is Horsetail herb. It seems like pine tree needles. As far as Arum is concerned, if I were you i would have gone to a homeopath doc and give it a try (after having discussed the matter with him/her, and finding out the right strength.)But be careful.Although homeopath medicines are concerned harmless, some did aggravate my situation when I used them (immediately took some coffee to counteract the homeopath medicine's effect). Be careful. If it does't help, leave it.(I propose you to do so, because I do try everything to treat my UC (I am now on a parasite killing programme).Just try anything you can do. Finally you will find a permanent solution.Go on!!
P.S.Herbs (in they natural form) are too promising in healing chronic diseases.I' ll keep you informed of my situation(I'm now using some combinational homeopath medicines, some herbs(teas) and a few nutritional supplements in combination with proper diet)- Re: polyps dog13579

This is a reply to # 57,633I'm taking homeopathic remedie too, but don't know if it is the right one. It's called "Phosphorus".
I found out that the Arum Maculatum is called in homeopathic coryza. I may go ask my homeopathic doctor or jsut order it myself. As far as I know, homeopathic remedies wont interrupt each other.
Keep me posted about yor progress.

This is a reply to # 57,634Phosphorus didn't help me with UC (but may help you so). My current homeopath doc says he never prescribes one substance alone (as he saw the list of the single-substance homeopath medicines I used in the near past, such as Sulphur, Thuja, Collinsonia, Mercurius, Sorinum and many other). I don't even know if the spesific substance, used in this homeopath medicine of Arum maculatum, represents all substances found in the bulb itself.But I insist on your giving a try to the horsetail herb now (if you find it).The author of this book I have found about horsetail herb is Maria Treben (you could find some information in the net.
