Do you believe that Jesus was the son of God? That His blood was redemption for your sin? Do you believe that He was raised from the dead?

Jews are God's chosen people from the beginning and Gentiles were grafted in. You are acceptable to God and dearly loved. The bible states in 'the end' that the door will be closed to Gentiles but remain for Jews to accept Jesus Christ for a time as the one who is the lamb who shed blood for all men. I don't know why you would be unacceptable to God because you are a Jew. Sin makes us unacceptable to God, as I'm sure you are aware from the OT ritual requirements for purification. The problem is that both Jews and Gentiles are unacceptable to God, because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. This isn't limited to a certain "race" of people, but all people born of Adam are in this predicament. God, however, has sent the second Adam, one greater than Moses, more wise than Solomon, a priest in the order of Melchizedek, and a sacrifice greater than all sacrifices, because it was offered up once and not year after year. People are accepted by God in His Son, Yeshua, the Christ, Jesus. If one wants God to accept them, they must receive His Son.

I want to thank all of you for responding and answering my questions. I asked not because I am searching for new beliefs but as an explanation for certain christians behavior I have run into in the past. I also did not ask because I think that I am unacceptable to G-d but as to why some christians have said this to me. I know that every religion (including Jews) has its people on a path that fall short of representing the truth of what the religion teaches. Ideas are often misrepresented when we are discussing are faith. I thought this forum would be able to provide a good cross section of christian opinion and it has done that :)
