Everyone has certain proclivities as to how imbalance will manifest, a lot of it determined not only by our genetics but our state of mind. Certain kinds of stress goes right to the liver. Most childhood stress is seated in the liver, causing "nervous stomach" that is actually liver pain, not acid stomach.
If you are out of your own control in any aspect of life, then you are in the emotional addiction cycle to which there is no cure but total and complete allowance - permission to do anything, until the thing you think is so bad is simply uninteresting and not attractive anymore. Then you abstain.
Until you release your self from the rules that set you up for failure, you will continue your cycle of wanting, denying, giving in and having, the orgasm of allowing yourself to have, followed by the abject humiliation, self-hate and guilt for giving in.
It's a passion play that you have set up. If you're tired of it, drop it.
