Lessa
Lapis, I am so glad you mentioned these. I just quit by using all of the modalities you mentioned. I smoked for 25 years and couldn't quit. Really couldn't quit, not wouldn't quit. It owned me. I used EFT for 3 years alone on the underlying anxieties. Then in November 2004 I did 3 hour long sessions with a practitioner. Then in December 2004 I did TAT on the addiction. And I will say that GOD showed up when I did TAT. I did the pose and said "I am an addict. I am a slave to nicotine" then the reverse statement "I am free of all addictions" then when I said "thank you GOD for healing the origins of this problem" I was knocked back in my chair and felt the presence of a higher power. Then on December 26th, 2004 I smoked my last cigarette and sent my daughter away with my car for 3 days while I did an intense detox. I did butter shots every hour because the alcohol makes your body acid and it compensates by dumping alkoloids which is the nicotine stored in your liver and cells. I would do a shot (1 oz) and then get in a bathtub of epsome salts at a mixture of 3 cups to tub of the hottest water I could stand. I would drink a lemon and molasses (2 Tbs lemon, 1 Tbs molasses, 10
oz water) drink while soaking for 15 minutes. and repeat every waking hour for 3 days. It worked great. I had cravings again when I went back to work on Jan 4th, but I just used lobelia in OJ every 4 hours until I had no other cravings. I would say it took 30 days to feel free. I am at 41 days free now. I don't really ever think about them now. When I do, I just enjoy watching the thought.. as in "gee.. I wonder what made me think about that" I use a state of curiosity (NLP) about the thoughts instead of frustration or guilt.
Diet is extremely important because I had hypoglycemia and the smoking helped that so I had to add fresh fruit every 2 hours for the first 30 days. In fact most people go back to smoking because of low blood
Sugar from the physical changes your body is going through.
Now when I think about smoking I have no anxiety one way or the other. I can go on breaks at work and stand with my friends who smoke and not judge them or crave the cigarettes they still need. When they ask how I can do it.. I tell them about
Liver Flushing and Curezone and EFT and NLP and TAT etc....
I guess I just wanted you to know how very effective these modalities are..
