Dear 11630,
Yes, I would give milk thistle to your dog.
It will nourish his liver, not the cancerous
tumor. You've got nothing to lose, at this
point.
In your place, I would also offer him Virgin
Coconut Oil. I've read lots of stories of
animals who were cured of various ailments
by lapping up pure coconut oil.
When wild animals are poisoned or infected,
they often seek out the herbs and plants which will heal them. They know instinctively
which food will help.
Therefore, in addition to the coconut oil,
I'd offer the dog a lot of different foods,
most of which he'd never touch if he were
healthy. Foods that have anti-cancer reputations like garlic, onions, broccoli
sprouts, ground flaxseed, as well as herbs
like cilantro and parsley.
He may turn his nose up at them -- but he
also may eat some of those foods with enthusiasm. That will be a sign to you that
he needs more of that food.
Is there a woods near you? You might want to
take him for a leisurely walk. See if he
begins munching on any particular plants.
I'd also offer him vitamin C, preferably in
the form of crystals or powder. Wild animals
can generate large amounts of vitamin C within
their bodies. Domestic animals make much, much
less -- especially a dog with a cancerous liver. His immune system will use the vitamin
C to help heal his body. You can mix the vitamin C powder with water, juice, food,
whatever. If he laps it up, and looks at you
for more, then keep give him more vitamin C.
Trust your deep intuition about which foods,
herbs, or supplements to offer him. I know
you'll give him lots of love and TLC. I hope
your story has a happy ending.
Blessings,
Owen
