Right about now I'm really please with Pau D'arco. I have only been battling my candida for 2 or 3 months, but I have tried many things including para and bowel cleanses, liver flushes, the diet, and GSE. I have been battling a rampant candida/fungal infection in my daughter that has produced an aggravating, and spreading rash under her arms. I did the allopathic methods with her, Antibiotics , cortisone creams, then gave them up for coconut oil and tea tree along with internal echinacea and goldenseal. The rash did finally clear, but after about 2 months has popped back up. Well this time, I have discovered PD and it has worked like a charm. I started my daughter on it internally, and found an anti-fungal salve with PD in it as well as Black-Walnut , clove, Wormwood , and tea tree. For the past 2 weeks I have had her on PD, and her rash has been constantly clearing. The skin looks normal now. I started using the salve to finish the job a few days ago, and I'm amazed. Last time we battled this thing for almost 2 months with 3 doctor visits, and 3 different diagnoses to boot, yeast, fungal, and strep. To see this thing get reeled in so quickly has been fabulous!
And for me it is doing wonders. I have seen so much candida pass out of me, that I wonder if the other stuff did anything. I had tried gentian violet for my thrush, but it showed no results after four days, so I stopped using it over the weekend. On yesterday I looked in and saw that I could see sections in the back of my mouth that were actually pink. So, I decided to start using the gentian violet again, but because of the time delay of 5 days since I last used the gentian violet, I'm feeling pretty sure that the PD is the main cause for this improvement. Plus, I have had some serious sinus drainage over this weekend, too.
I'm still waiting for more vision improvements. I have to order more molybdenum because the brand I was using contained lactose and was causing me to react. I've found a liquid one I plan to order today.

MoreThis is a reply to # 293,591It does, that is exactly the kind of thing I wanted/needed to hear. Garlic is a strong anti-fungal but I reckon it has difficulty in physically removing the candida. Pau D'Arco sounds good because its drunk hot right? And like cleaning out a pan or something like that, hot liquid serves a lot better than cold. Anyhow, yeah, its good to hear success stories rather than people feeling worse, I am sorry that I usually bitch about things all the time and am usually one of those complaining but this is because this really wasn't my station in life. I was destined to become a hobo, a dredger, a drunkard, all those people you see in the street or have dead end jobs that are miserable, horrible people, that would have been me and it would still would be if I hadn't got a taste of living healthy and having emotions and feelings. Anyway, I digress, good to hear about success and I think I might buy some Tea.
One last thing, I assume the tea is far more effective than the pau d'arco capsules?

This is a reply to # 293,592Actually, I've been using the capsules. I use more than on the bottle. I started with the suggested dose for 2 days, then read somewhere that it takes 10 caps to equal 32 oz of tea, suggested for 4 days. So, I did that for four days 5 in AM, 5 in late afternoon. Since then I have been taking 6 a day, 3 and 3. For my daughter I had her do 4 and 4, then 2/2. Worked great.

My candida is predominantly thrush and anal itch (nice!)and the salve sounds right up my alley, if yiu pardon the pun!

This is a reply to # 293,628Sure, I'll have to check the bottle when I get home. I will say, that it was not a common brand. I believe it is a regional company, but they may have some online access if not found in stores. That salve has everything one would expect to work, and it really has helped deliver the coup de grace to her rash. Pau d'arco is one of the first incredients, then Black-Walnut .
But I would also suggest that you try the pau d'arco. It seems to get to the heart of the matter, sweeping the candida out of your system. It really worked on my daughter's rash. I only added the salve to her treatment after she had been on the PD for almost 2 weeks, and by then the rash was nearly gone.

I actually already take pau d'arco, in tea mixed with calendula (another anti fungal and general cleanser). It is very good and cheap.

This is a reply to # 293,591it was part of my internal parasite cleanse and killed the yeast on my skin (tinea) from the inside and in my intestines. i dont know if this helped the cleanse too but i would take my herbal pills and break a little sweat exercising and set 30 minutes before a shower. i figured it pushed the herbs through my skin to help kill the yeast rash.

This is a reply to # 293,614i never had a vadge yeast infection at all. mine was in my bowels and i had a yeast type of skin rash that is common in humid hot enviroments and likes to live on oily skin.
i worked in a coffee shop so i was sweaty and gross all day. eating tons of crappy food and sugar. and i started getting all the headaches, the bloating, the dark circles and then that nasty rash.

This is a reply to # 293,614Neither me nor my daughter were suffering from vaginals when we started taking it. And as gross as it sounds, all of my yeast recently has been coming from the other end. Hers was internal as well, finally coming out to the skin. So I believe you will have benefits with it. It seems to attack the yeast on all levels in the body. This is a reply to # 293,634Such a great thread. Pau d'Arco has been a life saver for me. I wasn't dealing with Candida directly but there was high risk after my cancer treatment and all the anti-biotics and scans I did while I was sick. I drank one cup per day during my treatment and then went up to 5-6 cups per day between my rounds of chemo. I feel like Pau d'Arco helped my recovery as well. I still drink at least one cup per day 5 years later. Great for overall gut health. I saw some people talk about taking pills, I prefer to buy it in bulk in ground form and brew a very strong batch.
